A study from European Heart Journal found that C0VID can accelerate vascular aging and stiffen arteries, even if the initial infection wasn't severe.
Using a 😷 is a way to protect blood vessel health from these long-term risks.

I'm safe, I'm just venting.
I'm about to lose my mind.
I got cockroaches.
The maintenance who kept sneezing guy couldn't 😷 because I stupidly packed them up.
I have no appliances in my kitchen.
I try to advocate for 😷 and people think I'm crazy or rude.
I am exhausted.

From today! Shared with permission.
[Note: My friend uses a speaking valve with her trach and is unable to mask; we stayed outdoors for greater safety.]
I often avoid sharing photos of myself now because of how much steroids + Cushing’s has changed me, but I love this photo!

ALT Two people with a black and white border collie (Beacon) on a rain-drenched wooden porch. A woman in a blue rain jacket stands next to a person in a power wheelchair wearing a floral dress and black jacket. (Right side of photo = left of wheelchair user.) The woman in the blue rain jacket has a trach. The wheelchair user is wearing an orange duckbill N95. The border collie is sitting on the far side of the wheelchair and looking up at the camera.

Hey @MyKingSoopers , not remotely a fan of your new surveillance robot.
Firstly, miss me with the AI surveillance.
Secondly, its silent, goes the wrong way in the aisles, blocks shoppers and isnt ablism friendly.
Get this thing out of there.

Hi Leo, greetings from Australia. I'm an anaesthetist, and I wear an N95 mask in all shared indoor air to protect my patients, my community, and myself. I also educate my fellow doctors about the science: covidfordoctors.org

This is awful. They came to spray or dust today for cockroaches. They were going to give me new appliances but cockroaches are still running around so I told them it was okay to wait until Monday. I want at least some of the cockroaches to die. No fridge, stove, dishwasher RN.
#Colorado,
We all want clean air.
Let's reach out to our local public health department and ask them to inform the community when viral levels are rising so that those who want to stay healthy can choose voluntary masking,
All info you need is in the post below ⬇️

Lastly, It's a good time to connect with your public health department & encourage them to promote public health in your community this winter by sharing local data and encouraging masking in healthcare.
@WeMaskColorado has made it easy for you!

I'm sad you guys. I feel like my posting about covid makes people feel attacked rather than promoting community.
I never meant to attack anyone.
How can I advocate for precaution without it sounding like I'm calling somebody a bad person?
Someone said that my comment about no one being a low risk for covid complications was rude or insensitive.
I apologize if it sounded that way. I was just trying to say that unfortunately anyone can get long covid. It's the reason I'm so passionate about for precautions.

Very sad news. Raising awareness about Alzheimer’s and Lewy Body dementia in this way will help many people imo. It made me think of Robin Williams #RIP lewybodyresourcecenter.org/r…
