At ages 102 and 98 this Arkansas couple celebrates 84 years of marriage, possibly the longest active marriage in America.
Janel gave me my start in gerontology. She hired me in aging resident services when I was just a student in @GSUGerontology with some of the knowledge and none of the experience. She was an amazing woman with a heart of gold, and she will be missed dearly.
