You have his history on file, you have a 24-hour tip line, and you have a newsroom full of contacts in professional sports.

Your own write-up says he’s rambling, that he believes people are trying to kill him, that he’s obviously in serious trouble. Somebody at your company watched that video, understood exactly what they were looking at, typed it up, and published it with a play button on it.
That isn’t reporting. That’s a man in crisis, packaged as content and sold for a day’s ad revenue.
An anonymous account does this. You’re an American media company with editors, lawyers and a masthead. This went through a meeting.

Two of my favorite universities for their academic and athletic excellence are Notre Dame & Michigan. I just read Michigan is going to pass/fail for liberal arts and sciences for freshman year. This is to alleviate the pressure put on students. What is happening to us? Pressure brings excellence. Don't get soft Michigan, it's not what you’re about.
