**SYSC Tryouts 2020-21**
We are delighted to announce our tryouts schedule for the 2020-21 season. Please share our post with friends and family members who would be interested in joining our soccer community. We Are SYSC. Join Our Journey!
It is with a heavy heart that we annouce the passing of Phillip Hebert. He was a long standing member of SYSC. He volunteered his time to the club as well as many other organizations. Most recently, he was the Club's Referee Assignor.
We have, like many of you, have received the State's updated Phasing Plan. Soccer is considered a contact sport and is not included in Phase 1. We are still awaiting further direction from LSA. As of now, we still plan on starting back in early June.
Danny Carroll set to join the coaching staff beginning Fall 2020. Danny was the assistant coach at William Carey University. Danny lead the team to a record-winning season and to the semi-finals. Danny played for the University of Rio Grande, where he won a National Championship.
Wow!!! Really enjoyed our coaching education webinar today on “Packing” & how we can judge success with Austin MacPhee (assistant coach to the North Ireland National Team and Hearts FC of the Scottish Premier League). Thank Austin MacPhee, Mac McCallum and @AMsportstours
Congratulations to all the SYSC Club Players for receiving All-State recognition for the 2019-2020 high school season.

SYSC will be one of the 8 LSA Clubs that committed to participate in the Louisiana Soccer Academy Program for the 2020-21 seasonal year.
Really enjoyed our coaching education webinar tonight with former Cayman Island National Team Coach and former MLS coach, Ken Fogarty. Lots of great information on player development, training ideas, philosophies, getting out your comfort zone as a coach and much more.
What a great night with Mike Cracas of Hiram College on a Zoom Conference Call with our players about the college recruitment process. Over 65 girls and their parents were able to hear some valuable information!
