There is an uptick in chatter about a resurfacing “2nd shooter theory” in regard to the CK assassination. The theory didn’t just come out, but more light has definitely been given to it recently. The theory was basically formed around testimonies from people in the crowd at the TPUSA event held on 9/10/25 at UVU.
In short, people described hearing the shot, what it sounded like, what they noticed, etc. Specifically, some people said they saw leaves falling like confetti, the gunshot sounding like a long snap, one person even said it sounded like a log breaking. Another person also noticed that a tree present the day of the shooting has since been removed from the UVU courtyard.
I went ahead and made a collage with labels, as well as provided sources for everything below. Check it out:

Baron Coleman just released unseen footage of Officer Bagley with Mikey McCoy before he went to the Losee Center roof.
That video does not match Bagley’s sworn testimony from the July 2026 preliminary hearing!
In testimony, Bagley described realizing the shot was a rifle, “I looked down and saw an empty pistol holder that was sitting just on top of the grass. And at that moment, things had died down just a split second. I realized that the shot I heard was more of a rifle shot and not a pistol shot.”
He then said he turned to Chief Long and stated, “That was a rifle shot.” At that moment, Bagley looked up, saw that the Losee building had a direct line of sight to Kirk’s tent, and proceeded toward the roof.
The footage released on Candace's show today shows that Bagley actually remained on the ground after the holster was discovered! After which he met up with Mikey McCoy, radioed for a drone, and only then moved to the roof.
There was a significant gap of several minutes left out of his testimony, during which someone else was seen on the roof in that same window.
This is a problem for two reasons:
1. It undercuts Bagley’s account of how and when he found the screwdriver.
2. That screwdriver is one of the few pieces of physical evidence prosecutors used to place Tyler Robinson on the roof.

The legal team for suspected January 6 pipe bomber Brian Cole Jr. has filed a motion demanding that the government turn over the FBI’s complete forensic image of the iPhone belonging to Shauni Kerkhoff, a former Capitol Police officer.
The motion states that Kerkhoff failed an FBI polygraph on November 6, 2025, which specifically asked whether she placed the pipe bombs.
If the court refuses to order the full image, Cole’s defense is requesting data from December 1, 2020, through January 30, 2021, plus data from November 2025. The government has so far offered only the data from January 5–6, 2021.
The defense says it may argue that someone else placed the devices, noting that an FBI re-review of the phone uncovered 11 geotagged photos the initial review had missed.
Cole may pursue a defense claiming that another specific person was responsible for planting the bombs.
