#SaveMassEffect - A Message from the founder.
First, I want to say thank you.
When I started this petition and created #SaveMassEffect, I had no idea how quickly the community would come together. What began as one fan refusing to quietly accept the loss of something that meant so much to so many has grown into a movement supported by tens of thousands of people around the world.
And we’re only getting started.
Mass Effect has never been just another video game franchise. For many of us, it represents years of unforgettable stories, characters, friendships, and choices. It’s a universe that inspired us, brought us together, and reminded us that even against impossible odds, our actions matter.
That’s why this campaign exists.
Our goal is simple: Give Mass Effect a future.
We’re asking Electronic Arts to seriously consider two paths forward:
1. Commit to continuing Mass Effect’s development, with the resources, talent, and time necessary to deliver the experience this franchise deserves.
2. Explore licensing Mass Effect to a qualified development studio capable of carrying the franchise forward if EA no longer intends to develop it.
We’re not demanding rushed development, unrealistic promises, or an immediate announcement of a new game. We’re asking EA to recognize that this franchise still matters and that its community deserves to be heard.
I also want to make something very clear: This campaign is not against the developers, artists, writers, or employees of EA and BioWare. These are the people who helped create the universe we love. They deserve our respect and support.
Our campaign will remain respectful, organized, and focused on constructive solutions.
Where We Go From Here
As the founder of #SaveMassEffect, I’m working to turn the incredible support we’ve received into an organized effort.
Over the coming days, I’ll be focusing on expanding our outreach, connecting with gaming journalists and community creators, bringing volunteers into the campaign, and establishing a professional line of communication with EA.
With N7 Day approaching on November 7, we have an opportunity to show just how much this universe still means to people around the world.
Our next milestone is 100,000 signatures. But signatures alone aren’t the ultimate goal. Our goal is meaningful dialogue and a genuine opportunity to secure Mass Effect’s future.
How You Can Help
- Keep sharing the petition and using #SaveMassEffect.
- Encourage fellow fans to participate respectfully.
- Share what Mass Effect means to you and why you want to see its story continue.
- Help spread the campaign beyond our existing communities.
I’m currently organizing this effort independently, and I know I can’t do everything alone. As we grow, I’ll be looking for dedicated community members who want to help build something lasting.
Finally, I want everyone supporting this campaign to remember something:
We cannot guarantee that EA will change its plans. But we can make sure the community’s voice is impossible to overlook.
Every signature represents someone who believes this universe is worth preserving.
You have already shown me that I am far from alone in that belief.
Thank you for standing with me. Thank you for standing with the developers who gave us this incredible universe. And thank you for refusing to let Mass Effect’s future go unquestioned.
Our choices matter. Our voices matter.
#SaveMassEffect

This got me so emotional 🥲
I still feel like you deserve the heartfelt thank you from our leader (@JJXMeta) because without your community, DDOKO 2026 event would not have been a thing 💯
When the BMA team sent us a heartfelt thank-you after Saturday's #DDOKO event in Oko, Anambra State, my immediate thought was that the gratitude should go both ways.
Thank you for giving SlicePay and SliceChain the opportunity to be part of something that represents a much bigger vision for Africa. 🌍🐾
I have always believed that the true value of technology is not measured by how much attention it attracts, but by how much opportunity it creates for ordinary people.
And that is why this initiative matters to me.
What @Barkmediafrica, @JJXMeta, @Pizza_on__Sol and the incredible @doginaldogs community are building in Africa goes beyond bringing people together around Web3. It is about building confidence, opening doors, creating relationships, and giving young Africans a reason to believe they can participate in shaping the next digital economy.
There is a profound difference between introducing people to blockchain and empowering them to build an economy with it.
The first creates awareness. The second creates opportunity, independence, and lasting economic value.
At SliceChain, through @slice__pay, that distinction sits at the heart of our mission.
We believe blockchain must eventually prove its value outside the timelines, trading screens, and speculative conversations.
It must become useful in everyday life.
For the student learning how digital payments work. For the developer building their first real application. For the small business owner trying to grow without losing precious margins. For the entrepreneur who wants to serve customers beyond national borders.
These are the people for whom infrastructure should be built.
And this is why education must come first.
Not education that simply teaches someone how to buy a token, but practical knowledge that helps them understand technology, evaluate risks, solve problems, create products, and build sustainable businesses.
Culture brings people together. Education gives them capability. Infrastructure allows that capability to become economic participation.
That is the connection I see between the Doginal Dogs community, Bark Media Africa, and what we are working toward at SliceChain.
The Doginal Dogs family demonstrates something powerful: a community born in the digital world can develop genuine human relationships that transcend geography. When that energy reaches students and local communities through initiatives like #DDOKO, it becomes an opportunity to create something lasting.
But the work cannot end when the event ends.
Our collective ambition should be to see students become builders, builders become entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs create opportunities for the communities around them.
We should be measuring success not simply by attendance or social media impressions, but eventually by skills developed, businesses supported, useful products launched, and lives positively affected.
That is how an ecosystem becomes an economy.
And Africa deserves to be more than a destination for technologies designed elsewhere.
Africa must be a place where the next generation of global digital infrastructure is imagined, built, owned, and improved by Africans themselves.
From Oko to Lagos, Accra, Nairobi, Johannesburg, and across the continent, I believe the opportunity is enormous when local communities, practical education, and real-world technology come together.
To the entire BMA team, @JJXMeta, the Doginal Dogs family, and everyone who contributed to making October 17 special: thank you for your passion, commitment, and belief in what is possible.
Your work deserves recognition, but more importantly, it deserves continued support.
For us at SlicePay, supporting this event was never just about placing a name alongside an initiative. It was about standing behind people who are doing the difficult, necessary work of building a stronger foundation for Africa's digital futu
With gratitude and respect. 🤝🌍🐾

Yeah, Elon's 2023 take still holds: "Pizza is one of the primary food groups imo."
With the wood-fired oven at xAI and his recent pizza posts, $Pizza remains undefeated in his world. 🍕
