I'm 43.
I've been dreaming, thinking, loving trading for more then half of my life.
I spent over 39,000 hours studying the best traders, practicing, testing, trading, and having mentorship with them.
Here’s what I found on how to become a day trader:

After 27 years in the markets, the biggest lesson is simple: Consistency comes from having a system not from predicting every move.
In this video I break down the systematic trading model I use to define entries, risk, exits and trade management with a repeatable process.

3 fucking days traders kept trying to short these small-cap runners and kept getting squeezed.
Today on $GRML, for the first time, we actually had a real short setup.
That’s the benefit of IFT: wait for the data, wait for the signal, then execute. No need to predict the top.
IFT finally printed the sell signal around $20 → stock flushed into the $17s.
Now the trade is simple: $20 is the risk / breakeven area. Above it, unwind.
Still no real backside yet. We trade what the algo shows us nothing more.
This is exactly why I built IFT for small caps.

$IMCC exactly why combining IFT + setup recognition + tape reading matters.
We got the IFT signal, alerted the short setup, and used the $10 area for a clean low-risk entry.
Starter first, then heavier size once the trade confirmed under $10.
Now roughly $2/share in the money.
No need to guess tops or fight the tape.
Wait for the setup. Wait for the signal. Execute.
That’s the edge.

Always look when ssr is in play.
Everyone is looking for daily breakouts in small caps but when you see liquidity pool traps and reversals.
If you think about buying breakouts, you are 80% of the times wrong.

After 27 years in the markets, one thing is clear:
Trading rewards patience, discipline, and repetition.
You can spend years studying charts, reviewing trades, journaling, and refining execution before the results truly show.
Most people quit during that phase.
But if you stay consistent long enough, experience begins to compound.
There are no shortcuts.
Time in the market only matters if you keep learning.
Do not give up!

This false nomenclature of “researcher” and “engineer”, which is a thinly-masked way of describing a two-tier engineering system, is being deleted from @xAI today.
There are only engineers.
Researcher is a relic term from academia.
we at @xai are looking for researchers and engineers for scaling up our rl environments with user feedback and preference in the loop. apply here (or drop me a dm):

You don’t need to be the smartest in the room.
You don’t need a privileged past.
You don’t need powerful connections.
You don’t need a fortune to begin.
You don’t need a diploma to qualify.
What you need is consistency.
The discipline to show up.
The patience to wait.
The courage to lose — and still return.
That’s the beauty of trading.
It rewards those who endure.
Those who master themselves.
Those who stay the course.
In the end, it’s not talent that wins.
It’s resilience.
It’s calm.
It’s character.
