We completely agree with ADI member @handichienscom. Moments of relaxation, freedom and play are essential for an assistance dog's wellbeing, as Racine, Roxy and Sherlock demonstrate so well! #dogs, #TongueOutTuesday #assistancedogs #dogsoftwitter

Lynchy is a pretty special pup. He’s an assistance dog in training & was introduced to his new human Matilda at the Smart Pups charity lunch on Thursday 🐶 Founded in 2011, @Smart__Pups has placed 190 assistance dogs across Queensland with children living with disabilities ❤

BREAKING: These pronged dog collars will be banned. We’re passing legislation this week to crack down on the inhumane treatment of animals in Queensland. That includes banning the use and possession of pronged dog collars like this one.

A 6-year-old girl has joined Lifeblood's call to fill gaps caused by cancellations and book in for a donation. There are concerns blood stocks will be under pressure by Anzac Day and 900 people are needed to boost supplies. 7NEWS.com.au @Mel_wightman98 #7NEWS

Today is Korean Veterans Day, where we pay tribute to the brave Australians who fought for the freedom of South Korea from 1950-1953, and those who remained in Korea until 1957 as part of the multi-national peacekeeping force. Thank you for your service #TYFYS #LestWeForget

#DidYouKnow nearly a third of a dog's brain is dedicated to analysing odour? Dogs can detect tiny changes in a person's body odour alerting them to things like oncoming seizures and blood sugar changes. #assistancedogs #adiintl
