Here’s part 4 of my solo piano piece. 🎶 The last and final part “5” is coming soon. 🤍 I’m trying to find a title for this song - any suggestions? #piano #solopiano

It’s been four weeks since Pete Byrne of Naked Eyes passed away, and it still feels hard to believe. I was shocked and heartbroken to hear the news. I needed some time to sit with the sadness and find the right words to honor him. Pete was known for singing “Always Something There To Remind Me” and he wrote the hit, “Promises, Promises”. Pete and I met through my music attorney when I was first playing small venues in Los Angeles. The first time we met, he came to my Venice Beach apartment, where I had my keyboard set up, and I played him my original songs. I’ll never forget how it felt when he said he wanted to write with me and produce some of my music. It was an incredible experience that I’ll always treasure. We spent about a year working together, writing at my apartment and his home, sharing meals, laughing, and becoming friends. During that time, I also got to know his beautiful wife and children. My heart is with them. I’m deeply sorry for their loss. Pete was cool, I loved his English accent and his love for music was so authentic. He had an extraordinary gift for songwriting and he taught me a lot. We never released the songs we worked on but I hope to share one of my favorite songs we did, sometime soon. I’ve been blessed to work with amazing musicians, producers and writers, and Pete will always have a special place in my heart. I’ll forever be grateful for his friendship, his kindness, and the way he believed in me and my songwriting. Thank you, Pete, for the precious memories. I’ll miss you, and I’ll carry our memories with me always. Always something there to remind me. 🤍 #PeteByrne #NakedEyes
