Remember when we all got dressed up and did improv to celebrate the opening of The Nursery Theatre? We're doing it again! Join us for the Spring Season Opening Party on 19 Jan! There's a champagne reception, improv show, jam and DJ set form Fred Deakin! ow.ly/Qvyy30htS4h
The Smoke 2018 is a wrap! Thanks to our venues @theatredeli & @nurserytheatre , our guests of honour, volunteers, GMs and all our players without which we couldn't have made such a warm and wonderful festival!

@SmokeConvention Thank you for a fascinating evening of discussion last night @CamdenPT. my head is still running off with ideas. Best quote of the night: "a raven thinking about existentialism". gonna be a good weekend...
We have a whole weekend full of larp @theatredeli & @nurserytheatre. It's all kicking off tonight, 6pm at the Theatre Deli cafe. Excitement!
Also a massive thank you to our panel @mart_nielsen, @happeningfish, Angela El-Zeind, Jon Cooper @differencEngin and Nina Runa Essendrop for running Human Experience.
We had a great time at our larp and performance event last night. The panel got heated at moments which is a good sign of worthwhile discussion. Thanks to @CamdenPT for hosting us and everyone who came out!
So much stuff it just about fits into a tweet! Here is the facebook event for more info: facebook.com/events/19419915…
Tonight! We are running a free event @CamdenPT on larp and performance. Featuring a larp you can watch (yes), a panel (@mart_nielsen, @happeningfish, Angela El-Zeind, Jon Cooper @differencEngine ) and a open discussion on what the larp and theatre worlds can learn from each other
A cool project we want to rep. The Peckforton Papers is a newly published collection of essays about larp in the UK. Available as a free PDF or print on demand wychwood-end.com/publication…
It's 2018 and almost time for the second edition of The Smoke! nitter.gq/nurserytheatre/status/…
The @SmokeConvention International LARP Festival is THIS WEEKEND! 5-7 Jan at The Nursery Theatre and @theatredeli the-smoke.org
Features a run of Human Experience by Nina Runa Essendrop which blurs the boundaries between larp and interactive theatre, a panel discussion and an open space. If you make interactive/immersive theatre this will be an interesting new angle on your creative practice.
All our 28 larps over the weekend of The Smoke are full. But you can still come to our free pre-event on larp and performance, 4th Jan @CamdenPT: facebook.com/events/19419915…

Have you experienced the full horror of a long meeting and arduous PowerPoint presentations? Well in this larp by Simon Brind and Martine Svanevik you play a horrible boss trying to own a meeting. What will you do to win? ift.tt/2E19tQU
We're so excited for this! (we're also sadly full up) nitter.gq/nurserytheatre/status/…

Happy Christmas guys! We will see you in the New Year for some new adventures!
Merry Christmas! As of this moment all our larps are full! That may change, we'll update you on 28th December.
If you filled in the sign-up form, but didn't get a weekend ticket, we've sent you an email about buying a single larp ticket. We've even added another larp to the program for this! the-smoke.org/2018-programme…
Next year 4th Jan, we're running an exciting event @CamdenPT on the overlaps between larp and theatre worlds. Includes a panel, an open space and a larp with an audience component! facebook.com/events/19419915…
