The lack of ANY technical details about almost ANYTHING presented during this year's Connect makes it the WEAKEST one I can recall and remember. Holographic avatars, full body? On Meta didplay glasses with no face tracking? And no tech specs? Pff... Very very bad presentation

Good luck comparing $META VR to $SNAP Specs. Look at the size of this thing which is connected via cable to the Meta glasses, which by the way can’t adjust tint.

Price point might not make it accessible to everyone, but I have yet to come across a true competitor to rival @specs by $SNAP. The tech is truly incredible. Getting Specs out to consumers with all tech in the glasses themselves is highly impressive.

$SNAP AR > $META VR I don’t want to have sunglasses on anywhere I go, be permanently connected to a computing puck. Same as Meta Quest, just a different form factor.

Can the $META VR glasses: - adjust tint - be used without being connected via wire - be used without a computing puck? Tbh I see very limited usability if not. Just expensive VR glasses, which isn’t a headset. Price rumored to be $1300, we will hear it soon at $META connect.

Since $SNAP doesn’t have the ability to outspend $META on AI. A deal similar to the previous $400M Perplexity agreement would be the most logical choice.

The market has rewarded $META post Muse adoption. $SNAP has distribution (~1B MAU), which has become substantially more valuable. Either develop your own agent (Specs Intelligence) or sell app space to an AI company (OpenAI, Anthropic, X). Either will unlock tremendous value.

Custom app themes and pets for $SNAP map should be able to be previewed prior to subscribing to Snap+ IMO. Just like the app icons. @snapchatsupport
