🚀 Solana Tests a New Payment System Built for AI Agents Solana has launched Payment Channels, designed to let AI agents handle high-frequency payments without requiring settlement for every individual API call. In testing, a proxy connecting 100,000 wallets processed more than 1 million payments per second. The system uses spending limits and batched settlement, building on x402 and MPP payment protocols. ☁️ Alibaba Cloud is the first launch partner, with its inference API endpoints supporting Payment Channels from day one.
