Lucky just doesn't fit in my opinion. The device is problematic and expensive.
If somehow it was contributing revenue and not reducing it, lucky might apply I guess. I think for most people I would use blessing if your order was canceled or order unfilled.

Yep. They aren't willing to lie about it so they are starting to offload with mmwave. Just like they did with cars in their LTE network. 2030 is a long way to more CBand.

"Technological breakthrough"...care to elaborate, Dan? 馃槀
I don't even know how...lower level. Google pixel 11, mediatek M90 most impressive.
"Fears" about c band not getting indoors. Remember that back in the day lol
Some folks just spent thousands on a smartphone. They have anxiety simply holding it or carrying it, even just opening it.
You made a bad decision.

The more steps it takes, the more likely a customer gives up.

Coverage fill in?.
T-Mobile has adjusted, increased or restructured rate plans & forced legacy migrations multiple times over the past 3 years. This includes major revamps occurring at least four major times alongside continuous fee & legacy code retirements.

You and I understand the context. These analysts don't care. They will spread the narrative. Dan needs to navigate these waters carefully.
This is not a good statement to make MR Dan. Nice catch walt. These legacy telco guys cant get out of their own way.

I can see that too. But considering the cost Elon would demand...that's an expensive cell bill(s)

You would be assuming that Elon gets his mobile network up and the others won't have multiple satellite options in place by that time. I won't assume that.
Today, I can upload 4k video over multiple mobile networks. These networks have big reach & capacity; multiple low band channels, multiple midband channels. Some mmwave massive bw channels. High capacity fiber & sites are close. $50-$60 avg cost. Leave that for what purpose?
SpaceX is setting up @Starlink Mobile to become a true powerhouse in the U.S. wireless market.
You鈥檒l be able to have a Starlink plan the same way you鈥檇 have a T-Mobile or Verizon plan. The difference is that Starlink aims to deliver 5G connectivity directly to unmodified phones with no dead zones. Connectivity will work inside buildings as well.
New devices will include the chipsets required for Starlink Mobile鈥檚 full 5G service starting in 2027.
The big three (T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T), are downplaying the fact that many of their customers would make the switch in a heart beat.

Stankey is a wireline guy. Nothing wrong with that, it just drives his thinking. The company moves with his philosophy.

Network slicing is a feature for the operator not the customer. Customers need qos. Telco continues to try to sell things in ways Customers dont want to buy it.
Customer: i need two pieces.
Operator: we sell by the dozen.
