5️⃣ The Rangers for #WildlifeConservation program, supported by SLCF, @snowleopards and the UK's IWT @UKBCFs) held its 3rd award ceremony on #EarthDay 2026 in Ulaanbaatar. This year's rangers and officers carried out 2,500+ operations against illegal hunting.👏👏

4️⃣ Since 2013, SLCF's summer Eco-Camp has brought herder children together to learn about nature & #snowleopards. Surveys show 80% leave with more positive views of #wildlife. In August 2026, 12 teachers in Uvs Province were trained, and field trips have reached 45 students.

3️⃣ Lessons from 28 years of #SnowLeopard Enterprise: a 2025 independent evaluation found its greatest strength is #trust, not revenue, and that operations need to advance. Now: factory-made pure wool felt for better quality & less labour, and design trials with herder groups.

2️⃣ Tost and Toson Bumba Mountains Nature Reserve joined the @UNESCO World Network of #BiosphereReserves, designated in June 2026 by @UNESCO_MAB. It recognises research and monitoring in the area since 2008. The certificate was presented in Gurvantes Soum in September.

1️⃣ Since 2008, SLCF's Long-Term Ecological Study of #SnowLeopards has collared 47 snow leopards (26 males, 21 females). In April 2026, a team led by @snowleopards researchers collared 3, including M26, confirmed to be the 2024 cub of female F21.
