Not unhealthy but we went to Mexico for a few days and left our toddler with my in laws. We face timed and called daily. When we got back my kid was terrified of us leaving him at the gym daycare because he thought we were going to be separated again.
Had a stupid fight with my husband and he went downstairs to play video games. Naturally, I’m being petty and am going to fall asleep to twilight and keep the remote under my pillow so he can’t change it when he comes up here.
I’ll be honest. The way Europeans are talking to African Americans in these discords lately got me wanting to swing. Shut your cunt mouth up about culture you weren’t raised in, there isn’t really anything else to say about it.
Not my husband breaking up with his business partner on speaker in the living room 😭 ahhhh I don’t wanna be a part of this.
When I was in grad school I’d start my bar tending job Friday 5pm and close 2am and then open 9:30 AM and close 2:00 AM on sat/sunday because my internship was unpaid and M-F 8 am-5 pm. The hustle was real. Some of the best years of my life lmao

While we’re on the subject don’t ever answer the question “are rules meant to be broken and have you ever broken a rule” by telling me you had a shop lifting habit and that your dad got you out of it. Yes, that really happened.
I’m a manager and I regularly bring in my team to interviews so they can give me a yes/no because I don’t want to bring in someone they can’t stand so yeah, vibes are a part of it. Some of us care about work culture and liking who we spend a third of our work week with.
This is funny because that’s the exact reason we don’t have public transportation the way Europe does in a vast majority of the U.S. lol our needs are just different based on population.
Why is it so hard for Americans to understand we simply DON’T HAVE SPACE in Europe??
American large homes are a function of space availability. Even poor people in the US live in large houses on huge properties because they are cheap.
Check and compare our population density to the US ffs. Large homes like this exist in Europe but they cost 5x-7x what they cost in the US so of course only the ultra rich can afford them.
Getting to the point where my hair is so long I’m wanting to chop a foot off but know I’ll regret it.
Japanese people telling Americans they can make it through the day and enjoy the weekend is so fucking cute
What’s great about the U.S., is that you don’t have to give up your heritage to be American. We allow people to have their culture while still participating in the larger identity of being American. It’s not an identity crisis, it’s knowing exactly who you are.
