HEARTBREAKING: #49ers players visited a young fan battling heart failure to fulfill his final wish of meeting the team. Not long after this special moment, David sadly passed away. David got to live out his biggest dream before he left this world. 💔🙏

Yep!! This meeting is a directive from the NFL & NFLPA
Translation: "We paid him $50 million for squat. We're not giving him what he wants."

Woke up this morning with a full heart. God’s been good to me. Not because everything’s perfect — it isn’t — but because I’ve got my family, my health, and good people around me. I don’t always slow down enough to say it. So this morning I’m saying it. THANK YOU GOD. For the hard stretches that taught me something, and the good ones I didn’t deserve. For every person who’s prayed for me and stuck with me along the way. Count your blessings today, folks. They’re there if you look. Much love. -Bucky

I love the fact that Shedeur is unapologetically himself. But come on man… Just “play the game”… It’s actually a great question. He should NEVER have to make himself small to appease anyone. But respecting the responsibilities that come with being an NFL QB is non-negotiable.
Let’s try this question: How can/does Shedeur Sanders try to establish his own pace/rhythm early in games? #Browns

Sources: Malachi Toney has a high ankle sprain and will have surgery, which will allow him to return for the College Football Playoff. The timeline for return from this injury is typcially at least four weeks.

👀 Hmmm
Sam Darnold also cracked his rib on the second play of the Chicago game then played the entirety of it. #Seahawks didn’t know until after the game. Mike Macdonald says the quad injury is what is primarily keeping him out for Sunday vs Arizona and having Drew Lock start.

All I wanted for the next @Mariners manager is a guy that has a tough mentality, understands the importance of the game that is played between the ears, and holds the squad accountable to those agreed upon standards. Now we wait to see if Jason Kanzler is that guy. I for one am hopeful and wish him the best! #Mariners
The Mariners just told you exactly what they believe in. They had Joe Espada available — a manager who's won division titles and been to October. The safe, proven name. And they passed. Instead they hired Jason Kanzler, 36 years old, never managed a day in the majors, a guy who's spent the last few years running player development for the Cubs. That's a philosophy hire, folks. Not a headline hire. Here's what I keep coming back to: A week ago, a small-market team with one of the lowest payrolls in baseball won the whole thing by developing their own and sticking to a plan. The Mariners watched that, then went and hired the guy whose entire career IS developing players. That's not a coincidence. That's a bet on how you actually build a winner. I got my one short summer in the big leagues back in '04, and I was the young, unproven guy in that clubhouse once. I'll tell you.. the coaches who believed in development are the ones who got the most out of guys like me. But here's the piece I hope he really brings.. the mentality it takes to win at the highest level. The best managers I've ever been around all held their guys accountable, hard, every single day. They set a standard and didn't let anybody slide, stars included. You can develop all the talent in the world. Accountability is what turns it into winning. Now, I'm not going to sit here and tell you it's a sure thing. It isn't. He's young, he's unproven, and Seattle is a hungry baseball town that's waited a long, long time. If the young guys don't take a step forward, this gets loud fast. But I'll take a clear plan over a big name every time. Do the little things right, trust your development, and let it add up. So here's my question, folks.. gutsy and smart, or too big a gamble with the window open?

Genuinely stunned the Mariners went with their third straight manager with no managerial experience. Dipoto said at the outset of search he "preferred" a manager with MLB experience, but no GM in history has placed less priority on that detail, it seems

“Not our best,” Sam Darnold says after Bears smash his #Seahawks 34-17 On throwing quickly, vs holding the ball.: “There were opportunities to get the ball out. I just didn’t. “I have to be better in certain situations.” “Just wasn’t good enough…We’re going to take a hard look at ourselves.” @933KJR
