Victor Wembanyama on what he likes and doesn’t like while living in the United States: “Good: You’re never judged for being ambitious. Bad: the social interactions are more shallow here.” Wembanyama is talking about his experiences in France vs. the United States. Agree or disagree? 🤔🗣️ Via. @60Minutes

MAZZULLA X MJ & PHIL! WNBA UNDER FIRE: The WNBA posted a video from their official account of Paige Bueckers & Angel Reese making a $400 bet on who would win the 2026 All-Star Game, a clear violation of the league’s CBA rules 😳💰 After Reese’s team won the game, she said in a postgame interview that she’ll be requesting Buecker’s Apple Pay to get paid. The WNBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) prohibits players from directly or indirectly wagering money or anything of value on any aspect of a WNBA competition. Violating this rule subjects players to fines, suspensions, or permanent dismissal and disqualification from the league at the commissioner’s discretion. Thoughts? 🤔

BREAKING: Boston Celtics have signed Jordan Walsh to a 3-year, $15 year deal 💰☘️ Walsh, 22, averaged 5.4 PPG & 4.0 RPG on 51 FG% & 38 3P% in 17.8 MPG for Boston in 2025-26. Overpaid, underpaid, or just right? 🤔

BREAKING: The Los Angeles Clippers & Toronto Raptors trade centered on Kawhi Leonard will not be complete until the NBA investigation into the Clippers is over 😳 The statement from the Clippers:   “For the past 10 months, our organization has fully cooperated with an NBA investigation, participating in dozens of interviews, providing tens of thousands of documents, and facilitating access to our staff. While the process has been challenging, we have remained committed to transparency.   On June 30, we reached an agreement in principle to trade Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors. We have since been informed that the trade can only be finalized if the Raptors’ ownership group assumes the risk of penalties related to Kawhi’s contract that could theoretically result from the ongoing investigation.  The investigation is ongoing, and we expect the trade to be finalized following its conclusion.   At the heart of this investigation are Joe Sanberg and Aspiration. We did not funnel money to Kawhi Leonard through Aspiration. Like many sophisticated investors, financial institutions, and business partners, we were victims of a fraud initiated by Sanberg, who has been convicted and sentenced to 14 years in prison.     We recognize the uncertainty this has created and the impact it has had on our team, our fans, the Raptors organization, their fans, and the players whose futures remain affected while this process continues.   We remain confident that, when the facts are evaluated fairly and thoroughly, the NBA will confirm exactly what we have said from the beginning: We have not done what we are accused of doing.” Thoughts? 🤔

Jaylen Brown on reports claiming that he thinks he’s the smartest person in the room: “No offense to everybody in sports, but, the bar is fu**in’ low.” Brown is actually an academic genius — so much so, that, NBA GMs before the 2016 draft thought he was “too smart” & had too many outside interests, so, some stayed away… ▪️Top of his class in H.S. ▪️Went to University of California, Berkeley ▪️Chess Varsity team at Cal ▪️Can play piano & guitar ▪️Took graduate classes as a freshman ▪️Learned multiple languages ▪️Youngest person to ever lecture at Harvard ▪️MIT media lab fellow ▪️Offered a NASA internship ▪️Youngest (22) NBAPA Vice President ever in 2016 ▪️Was teaching a robotics session while $304 Million contract was finalized in 2023 Thoughts? 🤔
