It's clear that Toby is using the word monochrome to mean grayscale, because the "copies are monochrome, but you colored us with care" thing doesn't work because each of the flying aces are still only a single color each so they would still be monochrome if that's what he meant.

I think it is weird to sexualize a character who spent 90% of their screen time as a minor even if they have an adult version that was on screen for one hour maybe. it doesn't change the fact that the emotional imprint of that character that exists in your head is a child.
