AAA is a fatal and under recognized disease. While always thought to be affecting men mainly, 20 % women can have it and we don't even have a screening program to detect it. Women experience more severe AAA when they do get it; let’s talk about why. Join us! #bevsa
We are very excited to bring you a forum to discuss challenges and opportunities in treating female #AAA patients with our distinguished speakers Dr. @Sonyanoormd & Dr. @Sharon_Kiang_MD. Click to register ow.ly/3USY50IZAOr #medEd, #vascularMed #EVAR #Aorta #aorticaneurysm

A huge shout out to Susan Steffan and Joe Fox for conceiving the idea , and M and T’s Mike Wisler and CEL peeps for making this happen, Kathy Snyder for moderating, the CEL alum for their life changing testimonials, and the panelists for donating their time. 3/

I hope we helped each other to cope with this mess we are in; I certainly felt empowered. And the best part was an in person meeting with live networking afterwords in the beautiful Seneca one. #medicine #business #entrepreneurs #BEVSA 4/4
A panel representing different size businesses and industries shared their thoughts , and while I was on the panel representing small business owners and a small private practice group in medicine, I learnt so much from the panel and discussions generated by the audience. 2/
As an ENTREPRENEUR in clinical medicine I have faced many trials and tribulations. Overcoming those has taught me the importance of a well functioning team. Attracting, hiring, training, and retaining talent remains a challenge for all entrepreneurs. 🧵1/

I commend DELTA airlines for that kind of culture, teamwork and leadership. I have no idea who the pilot was, but I did thank him on my way out. 3/

THANK YOU DELTA AIRLINES CAPTAIN OF FLIGHT 2389! #teamwork #bevsapractice#deltaairlines @Delta #culture 5/5
Often in medicine we forget who the most important person is in this equation called healthcare, more important than the docs, nurses, administrators: THE PATIENT. I took a page out of Delta's book today, to make our practice as patient centric as we can be, they come first! 4/
The captain took it upon himself to do the needful so we could be as close to on time departure as possible. He didn’t NEED to do it, he was the MOST QUALIFIED to do so. BUT, HE DID IT FOR US , the customers, because he cared. 2/
