Πολιτικό πραξικόπημα προαναγγέλλει ο βουλευτής του ΔΗΚΟ Ζαχαρίας Κουλίας. Πριν από λίγο επανέλαβε στο δελτίο ειδήσεων του Sigma ότι την Τετάρτη, 25/09/2024 που θα ασκεί καθήκοντα Προεδρεύοντος της Δημοκρατίας θα προχωρήσει στο διορισμό Γενικού Ελεγκτή. Αυτή την απειλή είχε αρχικά αναγγείλει το Σάββατο στον Πέτρο Μελαίση στο ΡΙΚ3. Είχα κάνει σχετική ανάρτηση, θεωρώντας ότι αστειεύεται.
Πρόκειται για πρωτοφανή, κατάδηλα αντιθεσμική, και πολιτικά πραξικοπηματική, αναγγελία. Ο Προεδρεύων της Δημοκρατίας μπορεί να είναι περιβεβλημένος με τις εξουσίες του ΠτΔ κατά το Σύνταγμα, όμως δεν έχει καμία δημοκρατική νομιμοποίηση. Απλά αναπληροί τον ΠτΔ και διεκπεραιώνει τυπικά τις υποθέσεις του Κράτους όταν απουσιάζει ο ΠτΔ, και νοείται ότι όταν πρόκειται για λήψη αποφάσεων συνεννοείται εκ των προτέρων με τον ΠτΔ.
Με την λογική του Κουλία θα μπορούσε την Τετάρτη, αν του κατέβει, να κάνει και ανασχηματισμό και να αλλάξει όλους τους υπουργούς.
Θα πρέπει η ΠτΒ και όλα τα κόμματα να αντιδράσουν και να τον επαναφέρουν σε τάξη. Ειδικά ο Πρόεδρος του ΔΗΚΟ @NicholasPapadop του οποίου ο Κουλίας είναι βουλευτής οφείλει να δράσει αμέσως και αποτελεσματικά.
Είναι πραγματικά λυπηρό αυτό που συμβαίνει.

Μόνο ένας ανόητος θα ισχυριζόταν ότι όλοι οι δικαστές είναι διεφθαρμένοι και υπό τον έλεγχο συμφερόντων.
Πιθανώς κάποιος άλλος είχε υπερβεί τα όρια της αλαζονείας του και δεν ήταν πρόθυμος να επιστρέψει στη λογική.

This July marks half a century since the Turkish invasion of #Cyprus and the ongoing illegal occupation of 37% of its territory.

Έμαθα ότι γίνονται πάλι σκέψεις στον ΔΗΣΥ για τροποποίηση του Καταστατικού του αφαιρώντας τον περιορισμό των τριών θητειών στη Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων.
Η πρόνοια αυτή επηρεάζει πέντε βουλευτές με τους δυο από αυτούς όμως να δηλώνουν ότι δεν θα διεκδικήσουν επανεκλογή.
Άρα στη πραγματικότητα επηρεάζονται τρεις νυν βουλευτές.
Αν όντως αληθεύει ότι έτσι έχουν τα πράγματα αυτό σημενει ότι για να μην χάσουν «τις δόξες και τα μεγαλεία» τρία πρόσωπα, ολόκληρος ο ΔΗΣΥ θα κινδυνεύσει να παρουσιαστεί ως Κόμμα εξυπηρέτησης προσωπικών συμφερόντων αφαιρώντας τον περιορισμό των θητειών τη πρώτη μάλιστα φορά που θα τεθεί σε ισχύ.
Έχω την άποψη ότι πέραν των πολλών άλλων αρνητικών μια τέτοια τροποποίηση θα περάσει σαφέστατο μήνυμα προς τη νεολαία ότι στον ΔΗΣΥ όσοι πρόλαβαν,πρόλαβαν και ότι τα κατεστημένα καλά κρατούν. Άρα - κατά τη Κυπριακή- γυρευτητε άλλου!!

The ongoing illegal occupation of 37% of its territory has left #Cyprus divided. This wound remains open to this day. It’s time for Turkey to respect int law.

Today, on this tragic 50th anniversary, and every day, we stand with Cyprus.
We stand in support of territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Cypriots deserve to live in a reunited country in conditions of peace, co-existence, stability and prosperity.
The Cyprus question is a European one. We will continue to firmly support Cyprus in the efforts to reunify the last divided EU member state, in line with the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions.

There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Although we don’t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn’t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics.
