When we started Blockchain Benue in 2024, we were just four people with an idea.
We wanted to create a space where young people in Benue could discover blockchain, learn, connect and build.
At the time, Web3 opportunities felt distant to many people around us. It was an industry that most had heard little about, and even fewer knew how to participate in.
But we started anyway.
Since then, we've organized 7 events, brought together over 100 community members and reached more than 500 attendees through our activities.
What has stayed with me isn't just the numbers.
It's the idea that someone who had never considered themselves part of the technology space could walk into a room, discover something new and begin imagining what they could build with it.
That experience reinforced something I still believe:
Web3 is at its best when it doesn't just create new technology, but creates new possibilities for people.
That's what I would write on Page 10.
I would write that the next chapter of Bitcoin and Web3 should be about making participation more accessible.
Not everyone needs to become a trader. Not everyone needs to launch a token. Some people simply need the opportunity to learn, experiment, contribute and discover that they can build too.
I'm taking part in MEXC's Bitcoin Whitepaper Day campaign, and this is the message I'd want carried into its next chapter.
Bitcoin gave the world a different way to think about money.
I hope the next chapter gives more people a reason to believe they can shape the future themselves.
