I’m Bringing Back SOUNDWORK!!!
For the last week, I’ve been thinking: “What can I give myself as a Birthday Present?”

I know all we care about in crypto is THE PUMP.
And of course, I do * RESPECT THE PUMP *
But something more important is changing, other than the price, and that is how Web3 and Crypto are viewed by the rest of the tech entrepreneurship space.
For 7 years, every time I mentioned my involvement in Blockchain / Crypto, the looks I got was that I was involved in some kind of pyramid scheme or MLM Scam. Even from my own family!
And yes, 95% are still shady and scammy AF. But the shift is coming, and it's coming FAST!
And with new regulatory clarity, I believe Crypto will be soon vindicated as a major player in the Tech space.

The chances of making it as an entrepreneur are almost ZERO.
These three character traits are the basis to increase your chances of success as a founder.
Recently, I was interviewed on the @mexpreneurs Podcast, where I dove deep into @SoundworkSounds and the idea behind it. Sergio asked me to conclude with advice for fellow founders, and these three traits came to mind instinctively. So, here they are:
I'm not sure if these traits can be learned and developed, or if they are inherent, but here are the three R's that are a MUST for any entrepreneur who wants to succeed in building a business:
1️⃣ **Resourcefulness**:
The foundation of entrepreneurship is limited resources. If resources were unlimited, there would be no need to build anything. If you had unlimited money, infinite time, and any experience you desired at your fingertips, what would be your motivation for creating something new? NONE.
But it goes much further than motivation. Resourcefulness is determination. The mindset required to be resourceful is not thinking of the limitations but constantly thinking about how to get the resources required to solve problems.
The certainty that you will always find a way to get what you need and make things happen is a fundamental trait you must have to build any business in today’s world, especially given the constant challenges and hardships of building a new idea from scratch.
2️⃣ **Resilience**:
No matter what you do, how great your idea or service is, or how perfectly you execute, you WILL get rejected. You WILL face failure. You WILL get kicked in the nuts.
Resilience is not about avoiding getting kicked in the nuts or getting the best groin protection out there; it is about growing a solid pair, being willing to take the hit, absorbing the pain, and getting back up again.
Fail, learn, adapt, and get back up again. That cycle is a never-ending process you need to not only be OK with but assimilate as an integral part of your life.
3️⃣ **Relentless Optimism**:
“You will never make it!” “That idea will never work!” “I’ve seen a thousand projects like yours, and no one has truly made it big.”
Get ready; it’s coming. Do you really think people who surround you will immediately support your idea and cheer you on? I’m sorry to tell you, it does not always happen this way, and not everyone you meet along the way will believe in your potential to make your dream business a reality.
YOU must become your biggest cheerleader. YOU must encourage yourself when no one else will. YOU need to lift up the team when you experience a major loss, a critical bug, or a massive delay in delivering or shipping a new version of the product.
Relentless optimism is not only believing in yourself but also being unshakeable in the face of real-world evidence that things are falling apart and nothing is going as planned.
These three R's are not just principles; they are the must-have pillars that build your character as an entrepreneur.
I know for certain that these character traits are required to make it. What I’m not sure about is if these are innate to the entrepreneur, or if they can be taught, practiced, and developed.
