Here's how I would escalate things in #EliteDangerous with Thargoids. This is going to be a bunch of tweets and it's going to be over several hours, so I'm going to start here, pin it to my profile and you can come in if you like - or just read my ideas for lore and gameplay. 1/

IT IS OFFICIAL! The President just signed the H.R. 6938 budget bill securing NASA funding in 2026 🎉 It is officially law, meaning that we successfully defeated the budget cuts in FY 2026. There’s still a lot of work to do, but let’s celebrate this collective accomplishment!

Friends, as we stand on the threshold of 3310 and 3311 New Year's Eve in the universe of Elite Dangerous, we face a cosmic crossroads. Much like our historical struggles for power, the galaxy is caught in a tug-of-war among factions, with Thargoids posing a significant threat to our existence. We also mourn the deaths of our fallen commanders, whose sacrifices in the line of duty remind us of the stakes in this cosmic ballet.
This scenario echoes our past, where unity and discord have always defined our path. Today, in the stars, we witness similar dynamics: factions vie for control, human territories grow or shrink, and alliances evolve. Let's heed Lincoln's wisdom, promoting exploration, trade, and combat with integrity. In this expansive universe, our goal should be a peace that uplifts all, guided by the ethos of "malice toward none, charity for all," working together to mend the galaxy's wounds and honor our fallen commanders. @JustAbout__ #JustAbout #CheckoutJustAbout #JustAboutisAwesome #GetMoneyJustAbout #JustAboutJustAbout #JustAboutRewards #JustAboutCommunity 🤓#JustAboutEliteDangerous 🫡 🎉🎉🎉 Happy New Years 3311!

Two years.
Love you @LittleJuiceBox1 here are to more adventures.
So something I've just noticed since coming back. I'm playing my on-foot only character right now in preparation to begin streaming again. You know how the SCO drive helped speed things up? Apex Interstellar is not equipped with SCO drives. Yup.

Cocijo dies, or does it? youtu.be/KgOY0kZV2YM?si=gDfU…
I'm watching this Titan from about 10 km away. This mother f*cker ain't doing so hot. She sounds like me after one too many chili cheese burritos from Taco Bell.

My adopted child @EliteDangerous is 10 years old today! More thoughts later if I have time - but what a privilege to be one of many custodians of this amazing game.

The Thargoid war has been a years-long journey. It's time to end it.
Elite Dangerous servers are now offline for maintenance. We anticipate they will be available from 11AM UTC.

Early reports from those escaping from Hutton Orbital coming in - the entire stock of Hutton Mugs has been wiped out. The Centauri Mega Gin distillery received a direct hit... and the resulting explosion took out the warehouse. #elitedangerous

So what is the current thinking regarding Cocijo's vulnerability when it arrives tomorrow? Unless there is a massive invasion of surrounding systems coinciding with it's arrival. Do you think we will be able to start weakening it immediately?
