There’s a long list of people I’ve defended against lies, slander, and false allegations. In the last 24 hours, several have disappointed the hell out of me by using the same tactics they condemned when those tactics were aimed at them, with every excuse imaginable for why it’s suddenly justified.
You demand the benefit of the doubt but refuse to give it. You demand evidence when you’re accused, then accept speculation when it targets someone you dislike.
Those aren’t principles. That’s convenience.
When you’re on the receiving end again, don’t expect me to forget this. I’ll be there with your own words, reminding you exactly what you defended.
Remember, these are YOUR new standards. Don’t bitch when they apply to you.

A couple of months ago, Caleb Hammer released a documentary about "men's spaces"...
Every club, space, or safe space for men has been legally mandated to allow women. Any instance of a woman getting even the mildest hate for joining a majority-male space, it gets farmed for drama+news and the org or group is attacked. The woman is then called a brave queen for exposing the misogynistic, sexist men. Eventually, many clubs closed.
If the opposite happens, where the man is in a women's-only club, it becomes a scandal, and the man at times is arrested and charged with a crime even if nothing weird happens.
Either way, men lose.

Multiple things can be true at once:
1. They deserve to be angry at being lied to
2. This could've been solved more optimally
3. People shouldn't be talking about things in groupchats that are sensitive online with people they don't know that well.
