BITCOINCOMCD turned ten this week 🎂 On 3 October 2016 we issued it as a Spells of Genesis partner card, made with bitcoindotcom. It is worth remembering what that moment looked like. bitcoindotcom was one of the largest sites in the space, run by Roger Ver. Bitcoin Cash did not exist. The scaling argument was loud, but there was still one Bitcoin, and a card issued with bitcoindotcom was simply a card issued with a big Bitcoin site. Ten months later the chain split, and the name itself became contested. The card was made before all of that. 600 issued, on Counterparty, on Bitcoin. 156 addresses still hold one. It is a piece of a world that no longer exists, and it is still exactly where we put it. Still holding yours?
