you can tell someone isn’t a good person by the flood of poor quality replies from 5 follower accounts in your notifications after a tweet LOL never seen a normal person’s fans react like this

Your very own community is receiving untold harassment by the community that Peanut harbors. If anything at the very least stand up for your own community and protect the people who somehow still love your game. The consistent disappointing decisions and words are remarkable
This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values. When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them. Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community. At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts. We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.

"Peanut isn't bigoted!" then explain why the overwhelming majority of his fans have defended him by using slurs and bigoted insults. why do those type of people flock to him? why do they feel welcome in his stream? why does he not denounce it, not even in his own chat?

And yes if you are a DBD creator and you are choosing to stay silent on this you are a coward and you should also be ashamed of yourself Dbd is meant to be a safe space for any and everyone. DBD allowing all of this hate to pour into the community is unacceptable

Your fanbase (including large streamers) is getting harrassed by hundreds of bigots, being called slurs for talking about this and but you draw the line at people asking for the person who did this to be (rightfully) fired??

Yeah idk if my reposts didn’t make it clear but if you support Burnt peanut you can block me. BHVR should be ashamed of themselves and I do NOT support their decision to gift a racist homophobe all the DLCs

I want to know who even approved the whole collaboration with the scorched hypogaea man, because it wasn't announced on BHVR's socials. Very strange to have someone clearly getting special treatment from BHVR to promote the game, but with absolutely no promotion from BHVR's side.

Mandy gifting the Peanut all the DLC without the company’s permission is fucking insane 😭😭😭

While I don't think "threatening employees" / "witch hunting" is rarely ever called for.... She literally ADMITTED it was her and was PROUD to support it. Then when that proud support is met with "Yes! This company grew a spine and is saying fuck you to the woke liberals", that probably will warrant unrest. Like I said, this isn't just about a hot balance take or a bug... it was endorsing a known problematic streamer with a volatile fanbase. The same fanbase that has been through numerous other communities spewing hate and bigotry in defense of their holy streamer, who evidently doesn't tell them not to or speak down on their actions. This is the community he fosters. Calling @Mandyta1k and @DeadbyDaylight / @DbDPulse out directly was a good thing. Especially since she OPENLY welcomed the heat and attached her name to it. This isn't witch hunting or bullying, it was her own decision and consequences to face. I guess the skillet got too hot, so now she's probably trying to disassociate herself from it and have the official account claim the DBD community as just bullying a developer. CAN YOU NOT TAKE THE HEAT 🔥 ?

You must not be getting it. The moment that CM broke protocol to gift that bigoted streamer and bring his community to ours you violated everyone’s safety in the DBD creator community and it will never be safe until you take appropriate action. The appropriate action is to let go that employee. No exceptions.
