Just want to give a small update for people who are patiently waiting for the Chapter 1 Overhaul: Bushside Rangers is NOT dead haha, we're taking a break due to burnout and we're trying to reconsider the scope of the Chapter 1 Overhaul. (1/5)

This isn't something me or my BF plan on formally announcing just yet, but I do want to say real quick that all Bushside social media accounts have been rebranded to our new company name, "Spirit Cat Studios". This'll be properly announced within the upcoming months hopefully.

With Steam's new Achievement System, Bushside Rangers: Chapter 1 "Legacy Edition" will now have it's achievements separated from the upcoming full release of Chapter 1's achievements.

The plan is to archive the legacy achievements once the final version of Chapter 1 releases, meaning you'll still have them in your profile but they can't be unlocked in future and won't be displayed on the game page. Just helps to clean it up a little bit!

Refunds were issued. If they didn’t get it they can send us their order number to confirm.

ordeal. I've attempted to work with @Ownaj to get refunds sent out but it hasn't seemed to work, so I'll mention it here to make sure that it goes through. I genuinely apologize for the inconvenience, and I understand if there's a lack of trust for future merch as a result. (4/5)

That'll be it for now though, thank you for reading! I'll update you all when we get back into development on Bushside Rangers: Chapter 1 Overhaul! (Most likely at the beginning of 2027.) (5/5)

A part of reprogramming Bushside from scratch is keeping the future of the game in mind, setting up systems to work with future chapters so that it isn't a hassle for me to implement new mechanics, enemies, systems, etc. This is the main reason I hated the old codebase so much..

Small Bushside Update 🧵: Just wanna preface this by saying thank you to everyone who bought the Laurel plush! The Ownaj website says the plushies should be shipped within July, but I'll have to talk to them about it since the campaign technically wasn't successful. (1/5)

Here’s something I’m doing for @BushsideRangers It’s only a small piece of a much larger character so this isn’t a spoiler at all haha.
