I've taken a great interest in studying the history of the hijab, up until the Iranian revolution and later in the 2000s, it was normal for a head covering to still show *some* hair as seen in historical photography and paintings. This is why I think it is acceptable.

You’re telling me a system that’s essentially setting up young people for failure and that was voted in by senile old farts and also being ran by senile old farts….
IS SETTING UP YOUNG PEOPLE FOR FAILURE????

One very strange thing about Star Wars politics: “Queen” Amidala is supposedly democratically elected. I suppose Lucas liked the optics of royalty but didn’t want to show a good hereditary monarch. But that raises an interesting question, why the hell would Naboo CHOOSE to elect a 13 year old? Have you met one?

Palpatine: “Anakin, did the Jedi ever tell you why your generation cannot afford homes?”
Anakin: “No, Chancellor.”
Palpatine: “I thought not. Master Yoda bought his first property 800 years ago and still thinks you’re lazy.”

Context:
The pro-WEF “she isn’t trying to monetise air!” crowd doesn’t seem to understand the (multifaceted) concept of monetisation.
So, here’s a helpful definition.
They do want to monetise air.
In fact, her proposal is the TEXTBOOK DEFINITION of monetisation.

A population kept in survival mode is less likely to organize, protest, or revolt. That’s why I believe this economic hardship isn’t accidental.

📍Rudkhan Castle, Gilan Province, Iran
Hidden in the lush green forests of northern Iran, Rudkhan Castle stands as a breathtaking reminder of Persia’s rich history. A thousand-year-old fortress surrounded by mist, mountains and endless greenery.

When millennials, gen z, and soon to be alpha say that life is ruined. They don't mean they had to walk to school, work a bit extra to pay a bill, or got rejected once. Nor are they saying they had a horrible childhood or rough life, as many older people did.
They are saying that every normal process of human life, from housing, to relationships, pleasant public spaces, to employment, basic hobbies, and beyond. Has been made so unattainable they'll never have them. And so corrupt they hardly even want them.
There is nothing worth striving for, and they aren't allowed to strive for it anyway.
Everywhere they look are signs of decay, with almost no signs of hope.
They are stuck in an eternal night, that only promises to get darker, and their lantern is almost out of fuel.
