A 44 year old woman has 30 criminal cases.
3 police chases in 5 weeks.
And the DA kept letting her go.
Now an innocent driver is in the hospital.
Meet Bodesha Marie Garner, 44, of Austin.
She allegedly went on a months-long high-value retail theft spree that started with stolen purses in May.
She was arrested May 23.
On July 17, DA Jose Garza's office rejected or dismissed most of her theft cases.
She got a plea deal of 70 days in jail.
She was allegedly stealing again just 16 days later.
Sept. 17: she allegedly fled a traffic stop.
Oct. 9: she allegedly escaped officers by driving through 2 fences.
Oct. 21: she allegedly ran again.
Only this time she hit an innocent driver, sending him to the hospital.
AustinJustice says she has 30 Travis County cases.
27 of them felonies. And 9 open felonies.
With not one indicted.
May 2025: She allegedly admitted to smoking crack before a DWI stop.
County Attorney Delia Garza declined to prosecute.
Garner is now charged with evading arrest, and deadly conduct.
Police expect more charges.
30 cases. 3 chases. 1 person in the hospital.

I just got back from spending the morning with the Amish…
These people are incredible.
They invited me to have breakfast with them, we sang hymns, had Bible study and then went to work.
I drove them to a 96-year-old man’s home whose roof was falling apart.
The Amish arrived Monday and they will finish his roof TODAY!!!!
Their truck was pretty much on empty so I just filled it up for them, it was the least I could do for them.
We could still use drivers, so if you’re able, just let me know.
The kids rescued from the tunnels (connected to the Capitol) under 0bama’s WH were also for the pleasure of Congress

This woman went to vote in Texas, it wouldn’t let her select the candidate she wanted. After 10+ attempts and help from the election worker it finally worked. When she went to the next screen it SWITCHED the candidate and she had to go back and change it

It doesn’t matter who you’re voting for your vote should count for the candidate you select. Electronic voting machines are not trustworthy and there are too many glitches. We need to go back to paper ballots and same day voting

New York's top prosecutors had a chance today to answer a simple question, and they couldn't do it. At a gun-safety press conference, a New York Post reporter asked Attorney General Letitia James, Queens DA Melinda Katz and Brooklyn DA Eric Gonzalez whether any of them ordered prosecutors to downgrade charges to keep illegal immigrants from being deported. They just smiled and blinked. Katz threw her hands up in a shrug, and somebody quickly asked for "other on-topic questions."
The question came from a House Judiciary Committee report released last week. It says Katz told her prosecutors to "exercise extreme caution" with charges against illegal immigrants and not to "get caught up in the label of felonies, misdemeanors." It also says Bronx DA Darcel Clark had staff use "immigration-conscious plea bargaining" and even offer pleas in child sex cases that leave out the child's age as part of the crime. Katz's office later said it never showed leniency to anyone charged with a gun crime.
If these prosecutors weren't bending the law to protect illegal immigrants, it would have been easy to say so right there. A district attorney's job is to protect the people of New York, not to shield criminals, who shouldn't be here, from deportation. When the victims are children, there is no excuse at all. Their silence said more than any answer could.

A Nashville TEACHER OF THE YEAR walked away from her career because she says the district ORDERED HER TO FABRICATE A STUDENT’S GRADE.
She refused, so they went into the system and CHANGED IT THEMSELVES.
According to the teacher, a student didn’t finish a project so Hardcastle (the teacher) gave the grade the student earned... a failing grade.
Then a parent came in and SAT IN THE OFFICE FOR HOURS until that grade changed.
Three administrators huddled up and decided the AWARD-WINNING TEACHER was the problem.
She still refused to change the grade.
So they overrode her and changed it ANYWAY.
She quit in May and put all of it in a three-page resignation letter. It’s public. Read it yourself. She calls it GRADE FABRICATION.
And then she stood up in front of the school board and said the quiet part into a microphone: “Statistics are being skewed to protect the district, not our children.”
Our kids can’t read.
Can’t write.
Can’t do basic math.
...but the SCHOOL METRICS LOOK GREAT.
