LAST PLACE SCHEDULE MY A… BUTT!
Some genius #Jets fans want to excoriate their head coach backed with negative stats and visuals but can’t see that the Jets opened this season playing 3 of their first 4 games against teams from the best division, winning pct wise, in the HISTORY of the NFL after eight weeks.
NFC NORTH
Min 6-1 .857
Chi 6-2 .750
Det 5-2 .714
GB 5-3 .625
…that likely means no team entering a season with a “last place schedule” has ever faced a tougher first four games in the HISTORY of the NFL (get on this stats guys!)
Minnesota is currently on top of the NFC North but that’s a surprise. Some picked the Vikings for the bottom of their division entering the season as they were the only team with uncertainty at QB. Interesting how the Vikings were the NFC North team not on the Jets early season schedule.
Think about it. The “last place schedule” Jets had to play the Packers, Lions, Bears and Super Bowl Patriots in a span of 5 weeks then catch their rested rival Dolphins coming off their bye week.
I smell a set up.
Why couldn’t the Jets “last place schedule” start them off with the Titans, Browns, Dolphins & Raiders or something similar? Most likely they wouldn’t be 2-6 today.
It almost seems as if the league scheduling office made sure the Jets got off to a bad start. At least that’s the way I see it.
OK, now hit me with all your “crazy conspiracy theory”, “excuses, excuses” and “Aaron Glenn apologist” responses! Lol!
We lost to the Dolphins.
We lost to the Raiders.
Back-to-back.
Puke inducing losses for sure, but if you’ve followed this franchise as long as I have you know they’ll likely win a couple of games no one expects them to soon.
Jets being Jets.
Wow, 34-17 trouncing of the Super Bowl champions on the road. That Bears offense sure made the No. 1 defense in the league of the Seahawks look pretty “Jets-like” didn’t it you Aaron Glenn haters out there.
The first game the offense was at its closest to being whole since training camp, they put up 30+ points. And they still weren’t great in the red zone. Realistic fans knew coming into the season the talent was on the offense and that the defense was going to be smoke & mirrors. But hey, we’re not .500 after 8 games so the imps (impatients) wanna fire the head coach right NOW! Idc how many fans disagree with me when I say it’s not all his fault and wait AT LEAST until seasons end before considering firing the head coach. #Jets
THIS is who the Jets should FIRE today

Aaron Glen is not having a great season as head coach of the New York Jets but to think he’s the reason for 2-6 would be stupid. The Jets are developing young offensive talent with a 36 y/o journeyman QB who has limited mobility and escapability (no slight to Geno who’s been good for us, just stating facts). They have a major hole at center. Their most talented defensive player is a rookie. With a few exceptions the rest of their defense consists of stopgap players. Ask yourself how many Jets defensive players would start on most other NFL teams? Bailey, TSweat AZ, Minka maybe, who else? We love DD but face it he’s 37. Also this team has been riddled with injuries on both sides of the ball. Now that the offense is finally getting healthy the defense loses two of its best players in Bailey and TSweat. This is on top of guys brought here to bolster the defense like Enagbare, Ossai, Onyemata, Minka having all missed TONS of time with injury. AG hasn’t forgotten how to coach defense he’s been snake-bitten with bad luck. I believe by the time the Jets roster is ready to contend two years from now, AG will have grown into the position. As long as the players don’t quit on him the Jets should allow the AG/Mougey tandem to see their vision through.
One of these days the #Jets offense and defense will play well during the same game.
And maybe even the special teams will too.
The refs catch the Jets holding but miss the obvious grounding on Cousins. Typical sorry ass officiating against the Jets
Brownlee is killing us with penalties today. He needs a pick to redeem himself. #Jets
The #Jets have been in the Red Zone 6 times today. Results: 3 TDs and 3 FGs. That my friends is called improvement.
This #Jets offense looks damn near unstoppable.
Did I just say that?
Think ex-Raiders Geno and Dylan Parham are trying to send a lil message to the Silver and Black? 🤔 #Jets
2TDs and 3 FGs of scoring for the Jets in the first half? Braelon with a 110+ yds rushing in the first half? GW with more targets than he had the past two weeks in the FIRST HALF? Yeah, the Raiders are far from great but the #Jets getting their injured offensive players back is a huge boost to this team.
