Primula vulgaris, the common or English primrose growing in our woodland
Celtic Druids believed the flower helped ward off evil spirits and could connect us with the fairies.
The name derives from the Latin Flor di primavera, meaning the “first flower or rose of spring
Foraging workshops return to the garden! Last year's workshops were well attended and well received, so this year there will be more. First one coming up in a few weeks, Adults 5 pounds, children free with an adult. We also have sponsored places if you can't afford the fee.
