A few comments made in the last 24 hours I/we want to address. Comments about staying out of politics & staying out of things I don’t know anything about (which have been called out recently ) were badly worded. I don’t want to preach my politics & Would rather address with 1/4

am not supporting is misguided especially when speaking for others. Other thing was a lack of Japanese ability. I’m Aussie. I helped construct the official statement which speaks for us. It’s in English bc all the team speak that language not for any other reason 3/4

We'll still be ensuring Japanese feedback is heard too, and appreciate the people who are making sure the Japanese crowd is across what we are trying to do as well. Thanks for the support - Kristy 4/4

We should say we’re sorry the statement wasn’t made in Japanese as well, our Japanese isn’t strong enough for such an important statement.

Again, we are sorry we weren't quicker and more decisive in acting on this. We hope the community can work with us to be better in the future 9/9

We are working on arranging a group of both English and Japanese speakers from both in and outside the chip scene. It’s also possible to send anonymous feedback.

I'm wondering who the "independent intermediary" is that looks at the spreadsheet I am afraid to do an opinion, even if it is anonymous, if that intermediary itself has a problem

Square Sounds' response to recent events, & our commitment to a safer community. In light of the recent statements made, and the current climate of the chip scene, Square Sounds - Kristy, Alex and Eugene in Melbourne, and David in Tokyo want everyone to know the following.1/9

has not been right and brought to our attention. We made a mistake, and we let people down. This was not our intention and we are so sorry. As such, there have been some changes in the structure for the teams behind Square Sounds. 4/9

should definitely be a "which" at the start of this tweet, Oops - K
here forms.gle/LW7BgT8yNVBjwohH6 which will also give you an option to open a dialogue with an independent person (not part of our team, and able to act as a mediator) if you wish. 8/9
