There is no market for TDR - big builders making large investments already have enough permissible FSI in their properties, so they don't need to buy more FSI through TDR. They also know that if they overload their properties and that puts off buyers, they will be left holding large lemons, so they are careful.
The only people who might be interested in TDR are therefore small developers who are selling to middle income and lower income people by overbuilding on small plots - the buyers are desperate, so they will buy. But this will leave all those areas looking like one more Marathahalli.
The govt thinks about infra in practice, it thinks about planning on paper, and it doesn't think at all about housing. The public thinks about housing in practice first. Naturally the two are in conflict. And in this conflict, the public will win, because they are putting money into housing, regardless of quality. The government is not able to put similar money into planning and infrastructure, so naturally the choices of the public wins.

It must be questioned in review meetings?when the public violates approved building plans and constructs as they wish, are BDA engineers monitoring these violations? Are inspections being conducted before and after construction?

Was the Quality Control for Road Works process prescribed in Section 900 of MORTH Specifications for Road and Bridge Works adhered to in SM Krishna Road works? If so can @BDAOfficial publish the records of quality inspection on its website?

Just a few houses built & #BDA's sewerage line at #NPKL blk 6, G sector is unable to take the load. It's flowing on the newly laid out road. #BWSSB has competence to build such infra, but @BDAOfficialGok took it upon itself & this is the result! @mlanaharis @CMofKarnataka

@NPKL_BLOCK4 please ask for copy of paper/public notification which were issued by @BDAOfficialGok for objections regarding CHANGE in the PURPOSE OF LAND USAGE. Whether such changes were compensated in Block 4 to original Land Usage purpose? This will help instead, in good spirit
