Rain or shine. To the office & home. Weekend warrioring. You name it, @NancyLefebre & @JohnYipTO are peddling for a cause! Over the weekend, these two put in some kms toward their ultimate goal of 2,300 km as part of the @StElizFdn Walk, Run & Ride in support of @JHHospice!
Riding bikes is enjoyable for these 2 but if they can ride with a purpose - even better! John & Nancy’s goal is to raise $10,000 to support patient services at our sites in Toronto & Windsor, specifically caring for people experiencing homelessness at end-of-life.

Did you catch this morning's HIT Talk on the Reflection Room? @NancyLefebre Lefebre, COO, SVP, @SEHealth_SEHC and Celina Carter RN PhD, Research Scientist, @SEHCResearch opened the #HPCO2024 Conference this morning. 1/3
They outlined how the space has been adapted to not only prompt discussions of grief and loss, but also help patients, health care providers, caregivers, and more cope with pandemic-related loss through storytelling. 2/3
The Reflection Room has now been distributed to 300+ organizations as part of the @stelizfdn's charitable mission of supporting end-of-life journeys for people most in need.

For anyone attending #HPCO2024, make sure to visit the Gormley Room on the lower level and stop into the Reflection Room. The calming space offers visitors a chance to reflect on their grief and loss journey, reading the stories of others and writing one of their own if desired.

Today, @StElizFdn hosted the Specialized Hospice Palliative Care for Structurally Vulnerable Populations: An Inaugural International Knowledge Exchange. We brought together leaders from across Canada to discuss care for structurally vulnerable populations at end-of-life.
