St Stephen AFC

Quick cut but with no game for a few weeks it’s just keeping on top of things . With teams pulling out its left us with big gaps possibly looking for friendly next sat . 1 home game so far this season 🙈🙈

A narrow defeat on the road again with a massively hampered squad . Injuries and illness decimating us atm . We just not getting the rub of the green to get something from the game Frustrating but we continue to try . 🖤💛🖤💛

Main sponsor neil from polymer medics collecting his shirt Thanks to polymer medics for the support . The new kit and team wear looks awesome from swaz

A great display againts a a spirited @lifton side . Started well got going and controlled the game . Ran away comfortable winners and a huge confidence boost and a vital 3 points ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️ solly mom ⚽️al ⚽️butts ⚽️popey ⚽️Rui ⚽️leaner ⚽️dave . Well done lads 💛🖤💛

Prepped and ready to go . Not to shabby after the 40 day drought . Nice to be at a home game . Time to get cracking and see if we can start our season after a very slow start . 💛🖤

Bit of a spruce up at the club Pitch pre marked stand and pavilion done ready for our first hole game sat : can we get our season started . Grass to cut and mark prior to sat 💛🖤💛🖤

Dissapointing after noon a slow start got punished but a superb 20 mins got us back in the game . Started well in the 2nd but a reckless tackle and a 2nd yellow gave us 2 reds and an up hill battle . A positive mid 20 we learn from but we’ve got to make better decisions

Another piece of kit to further push the playing surface . Another colab with @ st Stephencricket 👌🏻👌🏻💛🖤

Disappointing afternoon way off it today and @LiskeardRes punished it . Better 2nd half but no excuses today beaten by the better team 7-0 defeat

Another tough pill to swollow after a very competitive game @torpointafc . Lots of chances didn’t convert and conceded deep into the 2nd half . Lots of positives and can’t fault the effort of the lads but we’ve got to finish our chances On to sat 💛🖤

Another narrow 2-1 away defeat .small individual errors cost us massively again . We had our chances to get something but couldn’t convert and we full short again . Frustrating but that football . 🖤💛🖤💛

Next up and it’s back to a local derby and it’s newly promoted st Dennis away . After narrow defeat on Saturday can we get some points on the board . 💛🖤💛

Injury time winner gives our host @stteath the 3 points . Tough to take but footballs fine margins and punishes us this time . ⚽️debut goal for 16 year old Josh Mom AJ dominant in the sticks Dust off and we go again 💛🖤

Here we go season opener and a tough one to start with . Works done now it’s time to give it all 💛🖤💛🖤

After slight confusion and a clash with our st Stephen carnival night we’ve had to postpone our psf vs @StickerAFC 2s Sorry for any confusion wish the 2s all the best for there up and coming season .

A really good test away to @NPFC03 took the lead but some poor defending in the first half againts the wind and slope and the home team 3-1 up at half time Reshuffle and the defending improved and the woodwork stopped us from getting more goals . All the best to the host 👌🏻

Always going to be a huge task againts a relentless @StickerAFC but we learn huge amounts tonight . The home side were relentless and bringing on that much quality at half time showed there strengths . Wish them all the best for the up and coming season a top bunch .

Tonight we make the short trip to @StickerAFC to fill a gap after a cancellation on sat . tough opposition 2 leagues higher but a good test individually and as a team . 7pm ko

👀👀 super happy to have these two back at the club both have superb qualities and furthers our desire to keep pushing on . Welcome back Jay and leaner 💛🖤💛🖤
