"3DMutantMfer #1076. Bought it because I like it, still here because I love it. The art speaks for itself. 🧬🍄
Shoutout to Teresa at @OpenSea support. A year ago she answered a ticket, actually looked into it, and remembered the case. Support that reads like a person instead of a macro is rarer than any 10k mint.

Hot take:
What bores me in the NFT space is the “more of the same” mentality. Usual 10K NFT collections with a minor twist. 10K PFP collections aren’t art IMO, they’re collectibles. Unless a big artist is behind them ofc. Art is something else. Why buy? Don’t say the community. It disappears as soon as the floor price drops. Let’s discuss 👇

🎨 Gallery Punk — Not a Lottery Ticket
10k collections aren't art. They're market-making. Traits and rarity ranks are just lottery tickets. 🎟️
This is different. 1-of-278 on Ethereum, minted April 2021. A real Punk remixed through early AI by human hands. No trait rarities. No floor price games.
When the lottery tickets expire, the actual art will still be standing. I'm holding the keys. 🔑

I see how people can scroll NFT space and judge every artist by their fp , like a number on OpenSea is the final boss of creativity.
Reality check: your wallet can be broke while your vision is rich asf.
A collection can have zero bids and still carry more feeling than a hyped-out PFP project with a million-dollar marketing budget.
The market measures demand. It doesn't get to decide what matters...
Floor price ain't art history. 🖤

when the hype fades, trading volume drops and airdrop farmers leave, not every project can survive.

NFTs are just easier for me to hold than shitcoins. Coins keep bleeding my portfolio, while NFTs are things I actually want to own.

Most artists keep a back catalogue. This is where the work starts. 896 pieces from 2021-2022, all of it on permanent record now — image, hash, proof.

The X algorithm has been updated and i actually like the changes
some of the new rules might explain why your posts stop gaining traction even when they get a lot of likes (i've noticed this on my own posts)
here's how it works now 👇
→ The first 2 hours can make or break your post
accounts with up to 50k followers can get an initial boost on original posts. this boost lasts up to 2 hours or 200 impressions in the home feed
→ Your mutuals matter even more now
a regular reply carries around 7.6x the weight of a like. but if that reply comes from someone you follow back, that weight can jump to 30x
so obviously, building a community > just having followers
→ Sharing posts gets a massive boost
copying a post's link carries around 30x the weight of a like
this shows how important it is to create content that's genuinely interesting and useful
i think these are the most notable changes. i'll run some tests to see how much they actually impact my posts
