A veteran who answered the call to serve needed someone to answer his. #teamHCSO did.
On October 30, 2026, at approximately 5 p.m., deputies responded to the area near Van Dyke Road to search for a veteran who had fled on foot after expressing thoughts of suicide.
Deputies located the man deep inside a wooded swamp, standing in the water. They spoke with him and made sure he knew he was not alone. He was safely brought out and connected with the care he needs.

He said no new wars, a better economy on day one, and that he would release the Epstein list.
He also said the war would end in Ukraine within 24 hours.
My stepson is 17 now, so the dog is carrying the family’s Halloween costume tradition. 🤣🤣

This war is so heart breaking.
I made another passionate defense of Ukraine in this week’s podcast, trying to do all I can to rally support for the cause. (Same as I’ve been trying to do for the past four years.)
If I were about twenty yrs younger and without a family (I’m 49), I’d have already headed over there with a rifle to help (as you’ve done).
Putin must be stopped. And the weakness and timidity of the West is embarrassing and unconscionable.
History will not be kind to our shameful, tepid response.
