That's according to an investigation by Hungarian journalist Szabolcs Panyi, who cites the recollections of former Hungarian Prime Minister Miklós Németh.
Németh claims that in 1990, he was shown three intelligence reports allegedly handwritten by Viktor Orbán during his military service.
The future prime minister allegedly informed the secret services about his fellow soldiers' political and religious views, as well as their sexual preferences.
Németh admits he couldn't verify who had written the reports, but says the handwriting looked unmistakably like Orbán's to him.
The documents may later have ended up in the safe of a former military counterintelligence chief who died in 2009. The files subsequently disappeared. Where the alleged compromising material is now remains unknown.
Orbán's spokesperson dismissed the allegations as fake news.

On the evening of November 6, former Serbian president visited the Savanova restaurant, also known as “Ćaci bar.” The informal gathering was organized by Dragan J. Vučićević, editor-in-chief of the tabloid Informer. Vučić himself shared a video from the event on Instagram.
At first, he was singing and having fun with Informer staff and supporters. Then he suddenly went quiet and stared into space with the expression of someone who had just remembered the election results.
