10k Starship launches/year is just from Starbase Louisiana
In a comment to the FAA, SpaceX says it wants to launch 10,000 times per year.
The FAA asked for input on where to build new spaceports and how to give rocket launches priority in US airspace. They're preparing for 10,000 launches a year by 2035.
SpaceX replied that rockets aren't the bottleneck anymore, the FAA's outdated air traffic processes are. They created their own airspace tool (Cleared) that most major US airlines already get for free.
They also noted that Starbase Louisiana is designed for ~30 launches and reentries PER DAY (!!)

Big day for Starbase Louisiana! Today the UL System Board votes on a lease that would bring @SpaceX to the old Pecan Island School, now the Wildlife and Coastal Preservation Center. 🎉
UL Lafayette would lease the school and about 5 acres to Ragin' Cajun Facilities, a UL-affiliated nonprofit, for $1 a year for 40 years. That nonprofit would sublease it to SpaceX for 40 years, with improvements to the property instead of cash rent.
Exhibit A, the list of those improvements, is blank in the version posted for the board. The lease allows uses like housing, warehousing and fabrication, but SpaceX hasn't said what it plans.
This could mean we see a SpaceX site out here sooner than we thought!

Starbase Louisiana week, Pecan Island edition.
Thursday SpaceX held its first community meetings, one at the old Pecan Island High that pulled about 100 folks and one in Abbeville, and reactions were mixed.
SpaceX's Ben Lancaster said up to 30 launches a day eventually. Shuttle-only access from a separate parking lot at first, plus a 3–5 mile exclusion zone on Humble Canal during launches.
About $100M in planned Vermilion contracts, help standing up a full-time Pecan Island fire department, and 4 job postings for the site are live.

Anyone betting against SpaceX building a massive spaceport in southern Louisiana has not been paying attention to what has happened in Starbase over the last decade. And SpaceX now has exponentially more funding and far fewer restrictions at the proposed site.
