Had Operation on Thursday, nerve block worn off & pain kicked in, struggling to control even with strong painkillers, using left hand🤷‍♀️. I’m feeling so sorry for myself & so very tired . It will pass but please hurry 😭

Last 12 mths, Mr S had 4 surgeries & Urgent referral, just getting some breathing space, phone call saying ‘we’ve had a cancellation & can operate on my thumb/wrist next Thursday, 6/8 wks of plaster/support/physio, not waited long but a shock & back to beans with everything

Some people might find this ?? but it’s our wedding anniversary so we are still celebrating at our favourite restaurante on Majorca , I know our niece Fiona would want this for us

Sat in sunshine enjoying a glass of wine, phone call from sister, my niece 56 died an hr ago, she hadn’t been well but 😭

Well it’s 2am, just home from friends , no drinking as I was driving, wide awake & tmrw we are off to Majorca , fun night though with fabulous food

I’m obsessed with the brand Bold Beans, since buying them & eating them regularly we are cutting back on meat. Even carnivore husband loves them & that is a definite ✅ Just different & delicious. Last night a Bold Beans Curry

10 yrs ago tdy, myself & Mr S rented out our bungalow for 12 mths, bought a round world ticket & spent 6 mths going round UK in our caravan. Our Adult Gap Year. Setting off around UK & setting off round the world

2 wks ago discovered a wasp’s nest inside ducting in loft, Co killed the wasps for £235 & yesterday Graham removed the ducting. They had broken through it. Now replaced with better stuff . Look at this gross but fascinating 🤨

Another great day. Driver on time. Laxey Wheel, Fairy Bridge & said ‘Hello Fairies’ , Port Erin, Calf of Man & back on the steam railway. Now it’s wine time at Little Fish Cafe.

Husband not well & referred to Consultant for tests. Final amount for our trip to India due next week, Insurance now won’t insure us & now completing a mountain of paperwork to get our hefty Deposit back, thank goodness I took the Insurance out when we booked

Surely I can’t be the only one who visits the hand car wash & acts like I’ve just passed my driving test . Whatever they say I get confused, engine on/off/windows up/down/handbrake on/off . They must wonder how I ever passed my test, total panic 😱

Ranting. Friend & husband staying near for her 70th. Had Afternoon Tea delivered to them as gift & invited them to supper on Friday. Spk earlier & said hubby will collect you & it’s fish pie, reply was ‘Jim doesn’t like fish pie’ I asked if he eats fish & chips, yes, is it me 🤷‍♀️
