Hate that a mental error cost us our best shot of wrapping this up in regulation. Big improvement from Georgia game. Wes Miller man. He’s ours.

Niners in at 95th. Couldn’t argue for much higher placement without some results. Fair play @CBB_Central.

College basketball is here, so it’s time to unveil my annual 1-365 rankings of every team in the sport. Never been a harder year to do it with so much roster uncertainty, but use this as your guide to the season ahead! Rankings, stats, notes here: ⬇️⬇️ si.com/college-basketball/ul…

At least one 49er can get a win off of US-29 this year.

“Nothing is going to change there.” Tim Albin says Todd Fitch will continue to call plays moving forward.

With 116 prospects in attendance, the Charlotte 49ers were blown out on homecoming by Memphis, losing 59-8. It was the most points the 49ers have allowed all season. Charlotte (0-5) allowed 386 yards passing and 288 yards rushing. One bright spot for the Niners? Former Charlotte Christian star and NC Mr. Football Henry Rutledge ran six times for 111 yards and a touchdown. But five other Charlotte backs totaled 18 carries for 59 yards.

I don’t think any fans really care that much about the locker room being lost or not.

"Not for one second am I worried about losing that locker room. Not one second," Tim Albin said after the game.

Head Coach of the Charlotte 49ers football team is a tough job. There have been an avalanche of poor decisions made above HC’s and by our HCs in our short history to keep this job tough.

There is an urgency to right the ship immediately. There is no time to play games or go through purity tests with the high school coaches in Charlotte, who clearly do not want to be a part of the Niners succeeding.

So your kid had no other offers and expected @CharlotteFTBL, an FBS program, to carry them on their roster??? Do not humor these things @langstonwertzjr.

My 2025 HS football player wanted to play for UNCC so bad. Never got one look.. he stopped playing football and still chose UNCC and now is in the business program. Now I have a junior same deal. Sent film no interest yet. 4.3 GPA LB. 🙏🏽

I’m begging you @CoachAlbin, just resign. Maybe even tonight. Don’t hold us back anymore by forcing us to fire you, and I don’t foresee any future where that isn’t our only option.

I don’t really care what you have to say. Charlotte fans are experts of awful football. From strategy, to effort and to execution. It really takes a special team to be the worst Charlotte team in our short history. But congratulations, you’ve really done it.

I’ve lost a lot of respect for the MAC as a result of the last 16 games of Charlotte Football.

Defense keeping us in the game but nobody on offense wants a first down.

Charlotte’s schedule has been filled with a visit from JCSU on Dec 13th. The return game from Charleston has been locked into Dec 2nd. Only unknown is the trip to Davidson, which will likely fall on or around Nov 18th based on concurrent schedule gaps.
