Source: @RitchieTorres Office It’s about time the firm hand of the law took a stand towards the normalized exploitation of gamers under the excuse of “the company has the right to revoke access at any time for any reason without compensation” and actually preserved players’ rights to own the games they buy, and to be compensated in case said game was removed or account was disabled. There can never be full trust in digital games when you aren’t even able to own what you’re buying. In any case, physical media must be preserved, because it will always be the only and most reliable way to play games and have agency over their usage, and they must contain the ENTIRE game, whether on one disc and four even.
