Ok, hear me out.
A new crafting table in ARC Raiders, the Repurpose Station. It allows you to gather rare mats along with many parts of a certain ARC such as the WASP, and repurpose into a 'pet'.
Same features, different look and smaller. Will fight along side you, limited ammo, 30 bullets at a time. Can refill on the go. Shoots at anything you shoot at, when downed, it's done for that round, must repair back at Speranza. Has 4 inventory spots, mini mule.
Later on, will feature a mini shoulder turret pet, mini Tick that can administer limited heal, and so on. Equip one at a time of course.
New Trader will come along, German sounding engineer, has skins and other features you can trade with him for your bots.
After all, have raiders not the intelligence and capacity to use the ARC in their advantage in such trying times?
The ONE reason why I hope PVE-only comes back to ARC Raiders is Amplified Weapons because holy shit.. It hurts the soul to lose one.
For example Rattler Drum Mag Requires:
- 1 Amplification Module MK1
- 2 Propellant Assembly
- 4 Pressure Regulators
Being RNG means you might spend hours and 50 raids to get the mats. I've been to Emperor 4 times and Frigate 20 times, and still don't have the mats required.
Speaking of, prioritize purple items over modules, trust.
Doing the Amplification missions in ARC Raiders?
Gotta prioritize best ones, and understand what each does to every weapon.
My top ones are:
-Incendiary Round [Thermite-Tipped Rounds Research]
-Full Auto [Weapon Fire-Rate Rewiring Research]
-Scoped [Integrated Optics Engineering Research]
Pick the ones you prefer below and focus one upgrading one at a time by priority.
For reference, the in-game research name for each is as follows:
1. Incendiary Rounds > Thermite Tipped Rounds
2. Drum Mag > Magazine Geometry 101
3. Optics > Top Mounted Optics Retrofittings
4. Shotgun> Solid-Core Casting Tech
5. Full Auto > Burst Assembly Recovery
6. Reloading > Quick-Load Magazine Retrofittings
7. ARC targeting > Targeted Component Trial
Welp. That didn't last long. Barely a week in and ARC Raiders heading straight back down to where we started.
The Frozen Trail update is great ngl. But for long term success, Embark needs to work on the one thing we been telling them since release, the Incentive systems.
ARC Raiders PVE-Only is 100% coming back very soon.
But what is it objectively good/bad for:
-FEATs ✅ Easy, Safe.
-Missions✅Easy, Safe.
-Trials ❌ Much Worse.
-Emperor/Frigate & Bosses❌ Much Worse.
-Looting/Mats ❌ Much Worse.
-Socials/Coop ❌Worse, few talk/join, no threats.
-Griefing ✅❌Better but marginally.
Overall, it's a useful mode to be used situationally for some specific tasks, otherwise PVPVE remains the superior experience.
My favorite thing about this ARC Raiders update BY FAR, is the Tether Launcher. So much fun and creativity.
So this here is one MAJOR issue I see with PVE-Only mode in ARC Raiders.
It isn't but should be nerfed HARD. Very Easy loot, Very Safe. PVE players will be done with their tasks in 2-3 weeks and get bored out of their minds.
Nerf loot 5x, buff ARC 5x.
I notice there are two types of ARC Raiders players, and gamers in general, who will never understand each other.
-One plays to feel something. The emotional rollercoaster and moment-to-moment fun and thrill.
-The other plays to do something. The warm comfort and satisfaction of clearing checklists. ✅
Second feels like a job to the first, and first feels like toxicity to the second. They will simply never meet, and devs trying to accommodate both groups will make it worse for both in time.
REMOVE the ARC Raiders Late Spawns in PVE-Only.
What is the point of late spawns:
-Keep the match populated later in the game.
-Keep Matches tense due to other players entering.
-Keep PVP Potential Open.
NONE of those exist in PVE-Only.
Matches are dead by 25-20min. No Loot. No players, early ones looted all and left. No ARC most killed. No PVP.
Late spawns make NO sense in this mode.
I just tried bunch of PVE-Only ARC Raiders, and it's not for me tbh. Boring af. Feels like nothing is happening.
ARCs are not more numerous or aggressive which they should be, no danger. Loot is still plentiful. If you're in early, 2min is enough to get out rich, if you're in late might as well surrender the match it's all gone. This needs a LOT of work.
📡 Attention, Raiders!
Update 2.1 is live, introducing the Carrion Set and kicking off of the PvE toggle Beta Test!
We know that the announcement of this highly requested feature has sparked both excitement and skepticism, so jump in, try it out, and let us know what you think.

The difference is that Valve is pushing towards downloadable local content, whereas Microsoft and Sony are heading towards sub-based cloud gaming.
And that's a huge difference in service.
Gabe and MS have been at odds in philosophy ever since he left that company.

1 month before release, full game leaked, PS5 modded, GTA 6 going free.
RockBottom ☠️
Decided to give this PS5 emulation business a shot. Downloaded it along with Astro Bot expecting it to barely run on PC.
Holy hell I'm shocked, actually runs 60fps for the most part, you get the occasional freezes, but the game's fully playable already. Truly amazing progress.
The game of the year contenders are clear:
GTA 6
2 Capcom games
Dawnwalker
Zelda Ocarina of time
Some indie like Mina
While those are good, it's been a rather weak year
Two months until @TheGameAwards
We are all working incredibly hard behind the scenes to get ready for December 10.
