23 years ago today I promoted my first show…
After 2 years of filming shows I figured it was time lol… thankfully I had the help of a few amazing people to lead me in the right direction.
Currently WWE producer Bobby Roode won the Maritime Cup that night.
Later today I announce my next show over at @pwupro . Funny how the timing of things work out sometimes.
Thanks for all the incredible support over the years it’s been a blast!

The deep dive into the vault continues.
August 2002 MainStream Wrestling booked the Halifax Forum MPC for the very first time. It was the first event held at the MPC after Real Action Wrestling had stopped running.
The card advertised wasn’t delivered, at no fault to anyone, there was a horrific car accident with the crew of wrestlers coming from Ontario leading to the card having to be changed at the last minute.
In a last minute main event that truly delivered we saw Lincoln Steen walk away with the Canadian Unified Jr. Heavyweight Championship (Kenny Omega is also a former champion) after a crazy ladder match also involving Sarah Stock and Scott Savage.
The amount of behind the scenes footage I have from this day should never exist. But it does 😂.

They kept telling us that you were immortal. We knew that, physically, no being is. RIP to the man whose name was on the lips of an entire generation. RIP to @HulkHogan. The business would certainly never be the same without you in it. Hulk Hogan. Dead at 71. God speed, sir. – at Toronto, Ontario

I’m saddened to hear of the passing of the legendary Sweet Daddy Siki. Not only was he one of my favorite wrestlers, but also a gifted musician whose talents transcended the ring. Spending time with him at his karaoke nights in Toronto was a truly surreal and special experience.
