In the final chapter of this week's Torah portion, "Vayera," is Gen. 22, the Akeida, which means the binding of Isaac. Sometimes people wonder, how could God give His only Son to suffer a gruesome death. He did it for us, because of His great love, and Yeshua as the Son was willing to do it for the same reason.
The akeida is an event that points to the suffering Messiah. God brought forth a miracle child, Isaac, born of a barren 90 yr old woman; and then commanded that very same miracle child to be sacrificed upon an altar. This is a prophetic teaching that points to Yeshua an even greater miracle child, born of a virgin, who is Savior of Mankind through His own shed blood. In the Akeida we see the Fatherās plan to give His own son as the sacrifice for the sins of the world.
Ā· Gen. 22:2 - "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love." Like Isaac with Abraham, Yeshua is God's only begotten Son whom He loves. Abraham as the father is called to sacrifice his only son, whom he loves. Isaac is called to give his life, which he was willing to do. God called it off, but left us with this prophetic picture of what He as the Father was going to do with His own Son for the salvation of Mankind.
Ā· Mount Moriah, where the Akeida takes place, is the exact spot of the Temple mount, where Solomon built the Temple (See, 2 Chron 3:1), and where Yeshuaās throne will rest for all eternity.
Ā· "Offer him there as an āolahā (āburnt offeringā). An olah offering is a kind of offering that happened every day in the Temple, twice per day, so that there was always upon the altar blood to make atonement for sin.
Ā· 22:6. āAbraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac.ā Abraham had brought a donkey, but nonetheless, he lays the wood upon Isaac. Why not let the donkey haul the wood? Because here is Isaac, wood on his back, carrying his burden up through Jerusalem to the top of the hill, to die as a sacrifice. Yeshua was marched through the same city, bearing a wooden cross upon his back, on his way to be crucified as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind.
Ā· 22:7,8: āThe fire and wood are here,ā Isaac said, ābut where is the lamb for the burnt offering?ā And Abraham answered, āGod himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.ā Abraham was speaking prophetically of the Lamb of God, which God Himself would provide.
Ā· 22:13,14 ā āA ram caught in a thicketā ā The ram was sacrificed instead of Isaac, because the horns of the ram, the shofar, represents the coming of the Messiah King, who is heralded by the sound of the shofar blast.
Ā· 22:14 ā āAnd Abraham called the place āAdonai Yirehā ā (The Lord will see). For it was revealed to Abraham that God would see for Himself a sacrifice.
There are many portions in the Torah that point to the suffering Messiah. Few are more revealing than the Akeida, concerning Godās plan to save the world thru His only begotten Son, the sacrifice Lamb, Yeshua HaMashiach. Upon the very mountain where Abraham stood ready to give up Isaac, the Lord will set up His throne forever. He will establish His reign over the earth in Jerusalem, from Mt. Moriah for all eternity. Shalom.

Anti-Semitism is evil and itās from the pits of hell. As a Christian, I am obligated to stand up and speak out against evil, but thatās not the only reason I talk about this topic so much. The reason I talk about this topic so much is because the only place where anti-Semitism has led to is the mass slaughter of not only Jews, but Christians who stand up against it.
And if you donāt understand that, and if youāre too blinded by your affiliation with l podcasters that you donāt actually speak out against it, then donāt tell me you care about the future of the country or the future of the conservative movement. Because I donāt believe you.
When we talk about the āchosenā or āelectā among the nations of the world there is only one in the Bible. Israel. The Messiah came for all people. In every nation, there is a blessing that has come through Israel to all the families of the Earth. But here is a reference to the irrevocable Covenant with that one nation. So, who do you think this is talking about? Obviously, it is Israel.
Romans 11:28,29: āConcerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the Patriarchs. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.ā
I know so many wonderful Christian people. They all seem to love President Trump, America, and have a vision for Zionism. They see the Jewish State as a biblical, prophetic fulfillment and a work of God. Nothing triggers the lukewarm and fake āChristianā Jew-haters like telling them how Christians have a biblical calling and duty to stand with Israel. They literally go apesh*t upon hearing it. I donāt understand it. Itās truly psychotic. I know that most of them also hate President Trump. And many have deep issues with America as well to the point where they sympathize with Iran and Islamic terror over standing with Israel. Odd. šŗšø š®š±
Jew-haters: āHitler and the Nazis were so awesome.ā
Also, Jew-haters: āHitler and the Nazis were a Jewish op to try and create a reason to form the state of Israel.ā
š
So this idiot Jew-hater lives in the UK and actually believes that the Islamic radicals currently taking over his country are being sent by Jews (and heās got a video to prove it) because Jews want to enslave the world. š
Do Christians have a duty to support Israel? Yes. As a Jewish-American, resident of Florida, not a citizen of Israel, and a Messianic Jewish believer in Yeshua (Jesus) here is my take on it:
I love America. I do not support everything my government does. I love Israel. I donāt support everything Israeli government does either.
American Christians believe in patriotism and rightly so. They are the heart of America. Christians, however, donāt have to support everything American government does. And they donāt. They donāt have to support everything the state of Israel does either. Even though the root of the Christian Faith and the Messiah are Jewish.
However, Americans who want to eliminate the constitution and change our republic into a socialist ādemocracyā run by Marxists and Islamic radicals are flat out traitors. In the same manner, Christians who deny that the State of Israel has a right to exist, and/or insist that the Jews do not have a right to live in the ancient homeland and defend it are engaging in heresy.
And donāt give me, āItās all about Jesus, brother.ā What does that even mean? Like you can be an evil person but as long as you believe in Jesus, itās OK? Believing and doing the right things matters. You canāt be a murderer, a sexual pervert, a compulsive liar, adulterer, an abusive or hateful person then just sit back in your chair and say āItās all about Jesus, brother.ā What Jesus are you talking about?
Hey, the Jews are literally back in the land. Some people need to just deal with that. Because Jesus aināt coming back to kill all the Jews in the land. The lion of Judah is going to redeem his own people in his own land. Maybe you donāt think they are worthy, but you aināt worthy either. Nobody is. So get that through your thick skull, you Jew-hating religious hypocrites out there. You go on social media with your out-of-context Bible quotes and your stupid memes and all you do is give Jesus a bad name. If heās gonna destroy anybody when he returns, Iād guess youāre first on his list to say, āGet away from me I never knew you!ā Now back to the main point:
Sincere and decent Christians know they have a duty and a higher calling to stand with Israel. That doesnāt mean you canāt criticize the government. It does mean you need to get your facts straight. E.g. donāt say stupid crap like accusing the Jews of genocide. The victims of genocide have risen up and have said never again. The genocidal maniacs are the Islamic terrorist. Get that straight. Jews, donāt wanna kill anyone. Jews just wanna live in peace with everybody, but some people just wonāt have it. Fine. They will pay the price when Jews defend themselves.
So, criticize the government of Israel all you want - thereās plenty of room for that. But we are under threat here in America. By the same forces that want to destroy Israel. So with whom do you stand?!
So know this: Hamas, along with all the other terror groups, sponsored by Islam, vow the destruction of the Jewish state and the genocide of the Jewish people. You who deny that the Jews have a right to live in and defend the land are siding with the devil. The same devil that wants to destroy you!
And btw Jesus is Jewish. And Israel is not some dreamy far out spiritualized concept, it is a biological and culturally identifiable people and nation and land in the Earth, who historically possessed the land and maintained a great and wealthy and influential state; and right now are doing it again.
God gave Israel to the Jews long ago by an irrevocable covenant. So listen up you who are grafted into the family of Abraham by faith in the Jewish Messiah: Yes, Christians have a duty to stand with Israel. They who hate Israel hate America even more. So you Jew-haters are against God. And against the best interest of your own country. Whatever country that may be. Jew-hatred is flat out heretical. Shalom.
"Shivat Tzion" means "Return to Zion." It is an important belief among the Jews historically. The prophet Isaiah, in one of many ancient prophecies concerning Zionism and the end-time rebirth of the Jewish State after a long period of exile, announced that "the Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach good news." Is. 61:1. What good news?
It is the news of the restoration of Israel. In Romans 11, Paul said that "All Israel will be saved" (v.15) and in that day it would be "Life from the dead" (v.25) for the rest of the world. The final return of the Messiah hinges on the return of the Jews and restoration of the state of Israel. This is why so many Christians have a Zionist vision, because they see the rebirth of the Jewish State as a sign from God.
Isaiah continues, calling Shivat Tzion "the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness." Is. 61:2,3.
The rebirth of Israel emerged directly out of the ashes of the holocaust. At our most tragic moment, Jewish people worldwide, both in the land and diaspora Jews like me in America too, had the oil of joy poured all over our heads as the Jewish State arose. Until the 20th century, no one believed that a people exiled for nearly 2000 years could just suddenly one day return to a land that is desolate and barren? But Isaiah had prophesied it: "And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations." Is. 61:4.
Though there are those who are envious and angry about it, resisting it, bc they delude themselves to think the land should belong to them and to their religion, God promised it to the Jews. Today is the day when the Lord has brought the Jewish people back to the ancient homeland. Today is the day of the restoration of the Jewish State. There is a time appointed for the salvation of Israel - both the State of Israel and the people of Israel. Today is that day. Let's rejoice and be glad in it. As it is written:
Is.62:1:
"For Zionās sake I will not keep silent,
for Jerusalemās sake I will not rest,
until her righteousness shines out brightly,
and her salvation as a blazing torch."
Zionism at its heart is not a political movement, it is a move of God. Regarding Israel, the New Testament plainly says:
āHas God rejected His people? Certainly not. I myself am an Israelite. Of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.ā Rom. 11:1.
It is terribly ignorant to argue otherwise. For it is irrefutable. Not only has God not rejected Israel, but the word of God concerning the Covenant promises which He made to the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) remain unchanged.
Yeshua is the word of God made human flesh. The word of God is the same yesterday today and forever. Woe to the man or woman who would try to change, alter or amend the word of God.
God has spoken
to Abraham, the biological and spiritual father of the Jews:
āI will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse. In you all the families of the Earth will be blessed.ā Gen. 12:3.
In like manner, God has spoken to Jacob, whose name is Israel: āMay those who curse you be cursed and may those who bless you be blessed.ā (Gen 27:29); and āIn you and your descendants all the families of the Earth will be blessed.ā (Gen. 12:14).
This is why Americaās future is so deeply connected to our alliance with the state of Israel. By aligning ourselves with Israel, we are aligning ourselves with Godās will, and with His blessing. Upon the Republic of the United States are the Covenant blessings of fruitfulness and prosperity, victory over our enemies and peace throughout the land that have been spoken over the patriarchs and over the nation from whom they came, which Paul the apostle said is his own nation which God has blessed and not rejected.
The return of the Jewish people to the ancient homeland here in the modern day is proof-positive of all the voluminous words of prophecy in the scriptures concerning this very event. It proves the veracity of Godās word. He said it was going to happen, and it did. Yet somehow there are those who claim to be followers of the word of God yet they would have you oppose what God is doing in reviving Israel.
So let us stand with what God is doing. Zionism is clearly Godās own work, giving new birth to the Jewish State. Israel is born again. In America, may God continue to shed his grace on thee. šŗšø š®š±
The data is clear, in the last 100 years, Muslims have contributed practically nothing of value to Humanity. Meanwhile, nearly all terrorism is attributable to Muslims.
Turns out RFK Jr and I read the same charts. @SecKennedy
I didnāt realize he too hates the Muslim Brotherhood and understands that Arabs havenāt contributed much to the world.
He should talk about this more often.
As HHS Secretary, he should also talk about the fact that burkas and hijabs cause sensory deprivation, trap bacteria on the skin, and how Islamic culture pushes FGM onto women.
The Islamic takeover of America is a public health crisis and should be treated as such.
This Pope has been sympathetic to Islam and to Gaza and Middle East terror organizations. He has consistently stated that Christians and Muslims can live together in peace, friendship and mutual peace. He is clearly mistaken.
When the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, it was a great city of much wealth and commerce, like San Francisco or NYC. It was a place where casual, meaningless sex, homosexuality and perverted sexuality was the norm. Suddenly, quite unexpectedly, a fireball came down from heaven and wiped it out entirely. Thatās why the name āSodomā has become synonymous with sexual perversion.
The Bible teaches God did it as an example to future generations of the judgment that is coming on the Earth. 2 Peter 2:6:
āAnd if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example of what is coming for the ungodly.ā
Interestingly, Sodom was corrupted in similar manner as the angels that fell and copulated with the daughters of Man, bearing the Nephilim. (Jude 1:6), adding to the significance of its destruction. Jude 1:7:
āJust as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.āš„
But the love of God is so great! So, when the news came to Abraham that Sodom was to be wiped out, the messengers also brought good news. By a miracle, a son would be born of his wife Sarah. She was 90, she was barren, post-menopause but God would do a miracle. And that miracle child, Isaac, would fulfill Godās promise (I will multiply your seed like the stars of the sky, and like the dust of the Earth) and ensure the house of Abraham to be a blessing to all the world.
Therefore, just as God in his wrath will execute a final judgment by fire š„ on the earth, so too, God in his great Love has provided redemption. And that redemption came through the family of Abraham, a King, in whom all the families of the Earth are blessed. (Gen. 12:3). For as Isaiah the prophet said it best, Is. 9:6:
āUnto us. A child is born; unto us son is given. And the government shall be upon his shoulders.ā
He was the child of an even greater miracle born of a Jewish virgin. All glory belongs to the King of Israel, and a blessing has come unto all peoples who stand together with Him. For there is redemption in no other name but His: Yeshua (Jesus), Melekh Yisrael, King of Israel. Shalom.
