How to evaluate a QB:
Does he correctly diagnose the defense at the LOS?
Does he get the offense in the right play?
Does he see where the pressure is coming from and make sure the OL is in the right protection?
Does he understand the spaces vacated by said pressure?
Does he put WRs on hot routes to exploit said vacated spaces?
Does he move off his first read quickly enough to get to the 2nd read and still stay under 2.5 seconds TTT?
Does he know WHEN to throw it so the ball arrives as space is there?
Can he layer it?
Can he fit it into tight spaces?
Does he throw guys open when he has to?
Does the throw with anticipation on any route BEYOND the first read?
Does he move the defense with his eyes for any other route BEYOND the first read?
Does he move his feet as he goes through his progressions?
Does he feel pressure and know how to side step it without bailing?
Does he know when he has to bail vs. knowing that buying a half second longer will yield an open target?
Let's start grading who we select to play QB against these qualities and see who comes out. I can assure you no one in the current room would pass.

I've always been a fan of Downs. Twitchy and can separate.
At his best in motion and that's not the offense Pittsburgh is running. Bernard is also doing a lot of what Downs can offer - short/YAC catches.
So I'm a little torn.

You can't quantify it, but I really like the energy from the #Steelers on all sides of the ball. OL pumped up after every first down. Teammates celebrating bat downs/sacks. Payton Wilson amped up when Kevin Jobity Jr. made his kick coverage tackle.
All signs of a good culture and locker room.
Revealing comment from #Steelers LB Elandon Roberts. Noticed on film Saints QB Tyler Shough wasn't making checks himself - HC Kellen Moore relayed them in.
So Steelers defense stayed static until < 15 seconds when playcallers can't talk to QB. Two examples of it below. First one, Patrick Queen runs into A-gap w/ 14 seconds and Saints run right into him.
