#gamesoundcon, you were a blast! No photos this time except for a dog in a Dodgers jersey. See you next time!
Out now! Had fun doing sound design and FMOD implementation for @rocketsoundus on @ForgotPlayland. Thanks to Jeff Carpenter, MPSE (now at @Blizzard_Ent) for the leg work. Congratulations to all who made it happen.
This time, next week, I'll be in the Bay Area for #GDC2024. Looking forward to catching up with everyone!
Excited to share my latest sound re-design project from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 trailer! 🕷️I'm available for hire and can't wait to collaborate on something extraordinary. #gameaudio #sounddesign #sounddesigner #spiderman2ps5 #gamedev #audioengineering #opentowork #reaperdaw

Join Kevin Regamey of Power Up Audio in a detailed overview of the audio of TUNIC. Kevin breaks down and demonstrates methods that could be used directly (or as inspiration) in your own game projects. Watch now on GDC YouTube! bit.ly/408EnkS
Attending #GameSoundCon was a leap out of my comfort zone, exceeding all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into a passionate community of game audio professionals. The intimate setting allowed for meaningful connections.
With so many sessions, I missed some gems, but I can't wait to catch up on the recordings. My #GameSoundCon experience extended beyond the conference as I explored LA and connected with local pros. Their stories were inspiring, and I wish I had more time.
I'm already excited about the next conference and seeing you all again. Share your most memorable #GameSoundCon moments in the comments! What were your standout experiences in #GameAudio and #SoundDesign?

Our largest GameSoundCon by far!
Daniel tapped his conference badge on my phone, and like magic, a link to his contact information appeared. This handy networking tool turned out to be incredibly simple: an NFC chip taped behind his badge.
It was hands down the best 'business card' I encountered at GDC*, and I can't wait to shamelessly adopt this idea for #GameSoundCon 2023. Not only is it cost-effective, but your conference badge is always on, and your phone is just a foot away.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Bill several times during GDC. His perspective on crafting a career in audio is inspiring, and I'm so happy to be able to revisit it here:
Our guest today on the Sound Business Podcast is Bill Lacey (@protoolsmixer)!
We talk about the industry changes Bill has seen in the audio field, his teaching work, why he's still pushing to learn new things, and much more.

GDC happened so fast that I didn’t take many pictures. But honestly, I was really in the Bay Area to see Opal. #opalthechonk #chonk #chonks #chonky
Dude not only gives one of the best talks I’ve seen but then does a Twitter thread version for those who can’t make it to #GDC23. I haven’t gotten a chance to say hi in person, but thank you, Kevin. Your talent is outshined only by your generosity. A model human.
