Mixed bag from Tyran Stokes against Louisville. He's going to live at the line due to the physicality he plays with. Had some really nice step throughs on drives to initiate contact and get to the line. Also adjusted late and had some nice drives after attacking quicker off the catch. Struggled a lot finishing through contact. The lack of explosiveness and craft around the rim was pretty concerning. Also don't love how reliant he was on FTs. Excited to see how he adjusts and grows that area of his game throughout the season. Made some great passes. Consistently rewarded active cutters and rollers. I generally liked his on-ball defense. Screen navigation and off-ball consistency need work, but there were encouraging signs.

He only played about 12 minutes but I thought Aday Mara looked phenomenal, especially in his third quarter stint. I broke down the value and versatility he showed as a roller and some of the impressive processing displayed on defense.
