We’ve seen it. The consistency is nowhere. Bayern get the tight calls against them and the benefit of the doubt never seems to arrive when it’s the other way round. Dortmund’s equalizer shouldn’t have stood. Josip got taken out of the play, the referee and VAR both decided it wasn’t worth acting on, and we were left arguing a decision that shouldn’t even have been a debate. That’s not football. That’s selective officiating dressed up as “letting the game flow.” And if people want to call it sour grapes, fine. Watch the clip. The contact is there. The effect on Stanišić is there. The fact VAR did nothing is there. The rest is just who you support.
