Hezbollah’s first leader and founder Subhi al-Tufayli admits it:
“We didn’t fight ISIS. Our goal was to kill Sunnis in Syria and Iraq. ISIS was the excuse.”
Same pattern with the Houthis tools to kill Sunnis for Iranian interests.
Iran’s bloodshed of Sunnis and Arabs has no end.

Hannah Arendt wrote, “When attacked as a Jew, one must defend oneself as a Jew.” That principle has long been invoked against antisemitism. Why, then, are Abdul El-Sayed or Zohran Mamdani expected to leave their Muslim identity at the door?

Imprisoned Circassians. Ottoman Empire, 1880s-1890s.
In the Ottoman Empire, the word “Circassian” became a blanket ethnonym. Ottoman officials and ordinary residents did not concern themselves with the complex ethnic distinctions of the Caucasus. To them, all migrants who arrived during the Muhajir migration were “Circassians” if they met two criteria: they came from the Caucasus and professed Islam.

“Iran does not have terrorist groups randomly shooting up churches, synagogues, and mosques.”
~ Daniel Haqiqatjou
Here is a compilation of Irān’s proxy dropping barrel bombs on Syrian civilians.
Iran - unlike the US, Europe, and the Arab world - does not have terrorist groups randomly shooting up churches, synagogues, and mosques.
There is one reason for his.
Iran realizes that all these terrorist groups are Wahhabis, and that the groups are run by allied Saudi, US, and Israeli intelligence agencies.
Iran bans these Wahhabis.
Meanwhile the US, Europe, and many Arab countries have allowed them to run on a rampage for decades to blacken the reputation of Islam and Muslims.
If you do not want terrorism in your country, eliminate the Wahhabis.
Every sovereign Muslim government does this. This is why Iran bans them. It is also why Afghanistan bans them.

The Assad regime collapsed. HTS was one factor. So was Ukraine. So was Israel. So was Assad for destroying his own economy. So was the protest movement and the self-organisation movement, and the Free Army, and every act that weakened and hollowed out the regime over 14 years.
